Why are the Cutie Mark Crusaders disliked by fans?

I love the CMC now but I'll admit when they first showed up in Season 1, I was not a fan. Applebloom's "I want it now" speech was the very essence of the things I don't like about some kids. Then they went around wrecking Fluttershy's cottage and not listening to anypony else. They were just very disrespectful in that episode. After seeing them a few more times I warmed up to them though. While they may be stubborn about taking advice they have a never say die attitude and try to work towards their goal. Plus it helped giving them more personality instead of just being the impatient kids that they were in their first few episodes.

The CMC are disliked???   Who could dislike this:   I definitely love em, they're just like any regular playful kids that sometimes get into too much mischeif.

While I don't think that way, I have to point out it wouldn't be the same thing: RD says she wants to join the Wonderbolts but we don't get episodes and episodes of her trying and failing to do so.

lol. I created a pocket legends guild named cutie mark crusaders.

 

Who could hate sweetie belle, scootaloo, and The ultimate Challenger for fluttershy in cuteness, applebloom. I would love to meet somepony who would even try to imagine disliking the silly fillies.

I think TheOtakuAscended put it best when they said that people that don't like the Cutie Mark Crusaders are probably either not good with kids or inexperienced with younger kids.

Personally, I just find the episodes to be a little boring. There's a few good ones (my fav. would be Hearts and Hooves Day) but for the most part, they just don't catch my interest. Nothing wrong with the characters at all.

I hear a lot of dislike for the crusaders from time to time. I don't personally get it. I just think people find em annoying or something because there well... Kids. I think their episodes funny and kinda charming. But you know, to each their own.

The main reeason as I've explained before is because they take up airtime. When you want to watch MLP, you really aren't looking forward to applebloom, or the chicken looking for their cutiemark. You want to usually seee one of the mane six, or them all on an adventure face it. They're good fun, but you see to much of them to be a good thing.

I've seen enough Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie...I actually want to see episodes about different characters. (Needs more Rarity episodes)

 

I find the CMCs interesting and want to see them get their cutie marks and see where they go in life. Plus they are just so freakin' adorable :wub:

They really are interesting, and every episode is fun. On the other hand when the CMC show up I instantly think awe man CMC? 'Cause I want Mane 6 so badly. Don't get me wrong I <3 CMC but I just don't find them as fun as the true charaters...

I used to not like the CMC very much, but I've grown to like them the more I watched the show. It probably didn't help that my first CMC episode was 'The Cutie Pox', which made me think that there episodes would be nothing more than annoying side stories, but once I saw stuff like 'The Stare Master', 'Sisterhooves Social', and 'Ponyville Confidential', I took a much higher interest into their characters. Plus they're just so damn cute! :blush:

I never thought they were disliked. I much preferred the Mane 6 episodes when I first started watching but since then I've grown to love those little fillies. I may even prefer the CMC episodes now.

 

I love Sweetie Belle so much, I think hilaridorable needs to be a word.

I personally love them. It's nice to have some side characters that are more than, well side characters. They give the show more personality then what you would get with just focusing on the main ponies. The only thing I dislike is that they are pretty predictable. And naive. But if they would just be patient, I guess there would be no point to have them. Besides, they are ADORABLE.

I was just wondering as to why the Cutie Mark Crusaders are so widely disliked? If you don't like them, what are your personal reasons for it?x

 

I love pretty much all of the main cast, apart from one pony, but I can't have a favourite between them because my opinion shifts as I feel they aren't particularly consistent but I have lotssa wub for them!~ I really like the Cutie Mark Crusaders also, and don't understand where all of the hate is from.

 

Please feel free to state your honest opinion, I just want to see it from other view points~
