Favorite villain/antagonist so far?

Chrysalis was cool, had an excellent evil plan that actually worked, and was scary as all Hell.

Chysalis because the idea of changelings scare me and she is by far the most cunning of villains so far. I would say Iron Will is a close second Shocker I know but he did what Discord couldn't. Make Fluttershy go against her sweet and innocent nature That and I just find something extremely funny about him.

Discord, without a doubt. He was just so much fun to watch. He was able to destroy the world, turn the Mane Cast against each other, and the whole time, I couldn't really bring myself to hate him.

Also, all the work required to take him down was just a fantastically written plot element.

To be a complete jerk, yet stay entertaining, is a mark of a great villain, and character.

Discord by a milestone. Nightmare moon was just an Evil Princess Luna. Nothing really special. Chrysalis was nice, but nothing compared to Discord.

Well, I haven't reached the Chrysalis episodes yet, but so far I'd have to say Discord. He went about things in a much more sensible way than Nightmare Moon, Driving the Mane 6 apart, rather than strengthening them. Plus he uses hid powers for his own amusement, rather than trying to go for world domination.

I like Chrysalis most, but I think discord, trixie, flim and flam etc. are good characters too. Only villain I actually don't like is nightmare moon.

My favorite would have to be Discord cause he did was pretty freaking funny. Chrysalis is the best villain in terms of doing something evil, Trixie was just annoying, Diamond Dogs...They were considered villians?, And Nightmare moon failed to really do anything but look scary.

So Discord stays up top as my favorite.

I have to go with Discord for he is just a chaotic troll. Not only does he make chocolate rain, but it is explosive in cup size quantities.

Easy question! Discord is the overlord villain! He is like a troll. Also, gotta love John De Lancie.

One thing that I had observed about Discord is that he is one of the few villains who did not want world domination like you would expect from cartoons. Instead of simply enslaving Equestria or destroying the Elements of Harmony, he toyed with the Mane 6 because it pleased him. Discord didn't need a motive or a reason, he just wanted to watch the world burn. He was very polished and refined, and made for a very unique antagonist, the best for MLP yet in my opinion.

Discord, because I love his way of interaction with his enemies. His way of tricking your mind is awesome. Plus his voice is great.
