Certainly not in English. This is the short version in modern Dutch, but the full thing has 15 verses and the first letter of each spells out WILLEM VAN NASSOV in the original old Dutch, or WILLEM VAN NAZZOV in modern Dutch, which references the name of William of Orange.

To quote Wikipedia on the whole 'Duitsen' thing:

The word "Duytschen" in the first stanza as a reference to William's roots, whose modern Dutch equivalent, "Duits", exclusively means "German", could refer to William's ancestral house as well as to the lands of the Holy Roman Empire at large, including the Netherlands; scholars have pointed out that a sharp distinction between Duits ("German") and Diets ("Dutch"), which are dialectical variants of the same word, is unlikely to have existed in 16th-century usage.

Since some parts of Canada are bi-lingual, there are English and French versions of our anthem. I've heard them sing the french version at hockey games before.

Yes it’s in English (USA).

It can be translated into other languages for others of other countries to try to sing :pout: .

I already commented to this but in addition I would like to share my national anthem in English.

It's very warlike... despite how neutral and not a war oriented country we are (at least towards other countries, internally we are always at war in one way or another). But when the national anthem was made we were coming out of a ver bloddy independence and then the loss of almost half of it's territory to some country. I do like it a lot, I feel it's important.

Mexico's National anthem

At the loud cry of war all assemble,
Then your swords and your steeds all prepare,
and the Earth to its center shall tremble
when the cannon's deep roar rends the air.
and the Earth to its center shall tremble
when the cannon's deep roar rends the air!

1st stanza

Oh my country entwine on thy temples
boughs of olive so fresh and so vernal,
when inscribed in the heavens eternal
blessed peace for all the land thou dost see.
But if stranger and foe in their boldness
dare to tread on thy soil, they must perish,
then, oh my country, this thought only cherish
every son is but a soldier for thee.

Stanza V

War, war! without quarter to any who dare
to tarnish the coats of arms of the country!
War, war! Let the national banners

be soaked in waves of blood.
War, war! In the mountain, in the valley,
let the cannons thunder in horrid unison
and may the sonorous echoes resound
with cries of Union! Liberty!

Stanza VI

O, Fatherland, ere your children, defenseless
bend their neck beneath the yoke,
may your fields be watered with blood,
may their foot be printed in blood.
And may your temples, palaces and towers
collapse with horrid clamor,
and may their ruins continue on, saying:
Of one thousand heroes, here the Fatherland once was.

Stanza X

Fatherland! Fatherland! Your children swear to you
to breathe their last for your sake,
if the bugle with its bellicose accent
calls them together to battle with courage.
For you, the olive wreaths!
For them, a reminder of glory!
For you, a laurel of victory!
For them, a tomb of honor!

My country doesn't officially have a national anthem,
All of the main proposed anthems (500 Miles, O Flower O' Scotland, and Scotland the Brave) the two I have came across with lyric versions are in Scottish dialect of English, and sadly not in Gaelic (Cause of a longstanding and current occupation)
