What the fuck do you think? If MLP was meant for anything other than kids, you wouldn't see bronies refusing to MAN UP and deal with people posting things they don't like about the characters. Other fandoms have asshats that do the same thing, but they don't have the benefit of hiding behind a kids show like bronies do. 

 

The need to give earth ponies something because bronies feel they have less than the pegasi and unicorns.

 

OR the need to reject anything different because "that's not what the show's about".

The phrase "Love and Tolerance." Our fandom doesn't really follow this motto.

The Doom-and-Gloom'rs who think that the show is going to turn sour because of a relatively small change.

Dazzling fanfic- PUH-LEASE!! I'm expecting some good stories for EG but all I got is THE DAZZLINGS, THE DAZZLINGS, THE DAZZLINGS all over again!! It's Shadowbolts' turn.. I honestly liked them more than the Dazzlings..

Another thing I hate is fanfic that shows an OC become effortlessly best friends forever with the mane six, especially in a "fell into Equestria" fic. Some people have a very weird idea of what friendship entails. Or pairing their OC up with a mane six pony, and then changing their personality completely.

You must be talking about ponification, I hate that too but it can be done right like if it takes on a magical girl approach as long as it somehow relates to the nature of the show.it makes sense to me. Or heck if it has some kind of satire or political message yeah I can understand that.

 

But if they made it ponification of Transformers or Ninja Turtles yeah that's weird and makes no sense.

I would also prefer to have people no longer do re-colouring of existing images. Frequently, this is done as an easy way to change an already existing image to the colour scheme of their OCs so that they can say that the given image is their OC. I don't think this bothers me as much as Ponycreator images, but it does still bothers me when I see it.

Clopping:   This branch of the fandom just scares me on a level.  I mean just some of it is a bit to "detailed"  and than you start throwing in humans/ponies and other fetishes....yah just stop!   I mean its bad a nuff on the whole panties and socks deal has now been used to over sexual cannons from the show in some art in depending how its drawn.  

 

Also  when we get ponies in Anthro is throwing on these huge boobs on like Fluttershy and Luna and others, I mean REALLY!

They need to make a Celestia episode! There has never been any indication that Princess Celestia is actually a tyrant. She can be a troll at times, but she's a great princess who really needs more character development.

There was one time where she went crazy after she believed that her friends didn't like her anymore, but Pinkie is not a psychopath. She can feel remorse, truly cares about her friends, and wouldn't want to hurt anyone. She's not a psychopath.

I swear, finding one where she's small is hard. She's an athlete! Big breasts don't make any sense! I don't mind Fluttershy having big breasts, but Rainbow doesn't make any sense. 

 

People who identify as MLP ponies.

 

Maybe it's because I'm transgender, and otherkin was created to mock transgender people, but people who think they're ponies or anything else piss me off. You're not a pony! You can identify as another gender, but you can't identify as another animal, especially a fictional one! Role playing is fine, but identifying as a pony isn't. 

 

Blind hatred of past generations. 

 

I can't stand G3 or G3.5, but I gave them a chance. G1 and G1.5 were good. I don't get why bronies have a problem with them being girly. In my opinion, the best episodes are the girly ones about dresses and fashion. (Rarity episodes.) 

 

People wanting the show to be darker or more mature.

 

It's a show for little girls. We don't need death or anything else to make the show dark. I like the child friendly aspects of the show. If I didn't, I wouldn't watch it. 

 

People talking about ponies everywhere. 

 

Some people could find ponies in literally everything. Every YouTube video with a good number of comments probably includes someone talking about ponies, even if it has nothing to do with MLP.

Believing that this fandom is somehow special. Apart from ponies, I'd be hard pressed to find reasons to say that this fandom is even unique, let alone special. This has to go.

 

Believing that this fandom is made up of good people. Absolutely not. Some of the biggest assholes I've ever met have been or are still bronies.

 

"Love and tolerance." Four years into the brony experience has me convinced to take great care of who you call "friend." There are some very awesome people in this fandom but they are like specs of diamonds scattered across filthy tar and barren sand. Honestly, if the fandom was as "good" as was hammered into me, four years into it would not leave me this salty.

 

So yeah, much of my gripe has to do with putting this fandom on a pedestal. I will speak very fondly of the good friends I've made from within this fandom but taken as a whole, this fandom is anything but deserving of such praise. At best one can say that this fandom is just that -- a fandom. Nothing more, nothing less, with and without the joys, the heartaches and the dangers coming with being part of any other fandom. After all, fandom are made up of people and more often than not, people suck.

1. I definitely wouldn't call the fandom special, but it still is pretty unique, especially in terms of talent level.

 

2. Well, it is made up of good people, but with bad people in addition. Just like anything else, don't associate yourself with those weirdos who take it too far.

 

3. Haven't really heard anyone use it except Anti-Bronies.

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways here are mine:

 

1. Raging at non-fans. It's one thing to call out or criticize someone for harassment, but if someone gives a reasonable argument against the fandom, don't try to white knight it or defend it in a rabid fashion, especially with poor grammar.

 

2. Pony Creator. No problem with OCs, but just draw them and don't be lazy.

 

3. Whining about Cloppers. Rule 34 exists. Get over it.

 

4. Forcing people to like MLP. This one should have been long realized.

 

5. Liking or disliking episodes that everyone shares the same opinion on. Mr Enter is not the end-all for MLP analysis. Form your own opinion.

 

6. Whining about Alicorns. Every time we fear it will ruin the show it ends up improving it.

 

7. Treating the fandom like a race or sexuality. Sure, you could use an analogy against harassing the fandom, but don't EVER think it's the same situation as the Civil Rights Movement or the Gay Rights Movement.

 

8. Pontifications that make no sense or are legitimately tasteless. Crossing it over with another piece of media is great, but trying to ponify Hitler or Donald Trump (pun intended) is ridiculous. Oh, and don't get me started on the pontification of the HOLOCAUST and 9/11!!!!

 

9. Pretending like the show is aimed at Bronies first, kids second. Again, should have been long realized.

 

10. Trolling/annoying with porn. Nothing against Rule 34, but like Furries, y'all need to keep it to yourself or online.

 

11. Pointless Reaction Videos. No explanation needed.

 

12. SJW Bronies. Not everyone in the fandom is a greasy, fedora-wearing neckbeard.
