Molestia wasn't quite as graphic in it's artwork as many would leave you o believe. Much of it was silly stuff, such as Molestia wearing odd cosplay outfits and the like. It did get quite risque at times though. Not condoning this or anything, but shortly after the take-down, I totally accidentally and by mistake activated a Bit Torrent file. Before I realized what I had done, the whole Molestia Tumbr site prior to the take-down landed on my hard drive.

So according to you, the brony fandom really is more talented than other fandoms? Are you being serious? It's one thing to say that there are a lot of talented fans but that can easily be attributed to the fandom's size.

I think you have your filters off then, because when I look up mlp terms with them on I very rarely ever encounter nsfw unless it is a term that would be something related to nsfw. The only issue you really encounter is when the filters do not keep up with demand, considering most image stay on certain sites it does a fairly good job catching it. I also did search "Mlp" with safe search one, didn't even find anything remotely nsfw on the entire first page(Even off I only found 1 image and it was of dark pinkamena). If safe search is off on a child's computer that is the fault of the individual who has it off.

The thing that I really want most gone is hypnotizing yourself to be a pony. The reason I say this is because it is down right STUPID (Sorry if you have done it, I am directing any hate towards anyone, I just don't like the idea). Now, I have read the disclaimer several times over and I think the disadvantages outweigh the advantage. I would rather read a whole terms and conditions than hypnotise myself as a pony. Now, to quote Jeff Foxworthy:

I've tried it, didn't work outrageously well or anything(itd take months of daily use to really get a good effect going, minor effects abound but strong effects not so much, prolly has to do with the wording of the script) but the community has on and off drama and I sorta agree with you. The major warning being EKP if you try to use multiple files that contradict, but I took cognitive affirmations to prevent the issue and I didn't get the issue(warning is mostly there for removal of liability). Also for the love of all thats holy especially do not try the youtube video pet file. Thats the source of 90% of drama or psychological issues that occur in the community.  I mean one issue with the files is inconsistency to work, but the pet file literally will cripple you socially if misused, and let others abuse you if they know for some reason that you use it. Only reason why people think most of the drama isn't from that is because theres a ban on talking about it at the site so others dont get the genius idea of using it.

 

But also everyone crying about clop, I think clop > most porn emotionally and relevantly speaking.

When you have interest in both ponies and history, this sort of ponification happens... at least if you're me specifically. I already ponified, say, politicians including Hitler and did create an image depicting Nazi prison/concentration camp (I didn't plan specifically which it was though the image was to depict that notable Nazi OC negatively rather than positively). Anyway, avoid my content I suppose.

Also being Brony since 2011, I would say that "love and tolerance" was not used legitimately by majority of the fandom. I still remember many Bronies still being notably angry towards those who were against them, and phrase "love and tolerance" was originally made to troll anti-Bronies anyhow.

There was one time where she went crazy after she believed that her friends didn't like her anymore, but Pinkie is not a psychopath. She can feel remorse, truly cares about her friends, and wouldn't want to hurt anyone. She's not a psychopath.

I think this is obvious. But remember, Lyra's obsession with humans originated from her sitting like a human in one scene. Same thing happened to Pinkie becoming Cupcakes Pinkamena.

I swear, finding one where she's small is hard. She's an athlete! Big breasts don't make any sense! I don't mind Fluttershy having big breasts, but Rainbow doesn't make any sense.

There are several places where family marriages are legal.. those are mostly Asian countries

 

And again, is clopping that bad? Here's a tip: Don't search for MLP on Google. Use Derpibooru and blacklist tags like sex, blowjobs, etc. Honestly, I've only found clop when I was the one at fault - searching google (which is a search engine, mind you, it gives you results of what you typed, NOT what you thought) for pictures when its much better (for efficiency, too) to use Derpibooru, which defaults to hide suggestive - explicit content, although I always turn it off but that's a story for another time. Aaaanyway, you shouldn't find it unless you're being really lazy about searching, you aren't taking protective measures, and/or you're walking into a trap.

The thing about clop artwork is that it's done in a different perspective to human stuff. These are things maybe someone who isn't a frequent studier of art may notice, idk. But there are subtleties that add up to a difference when it comes to some of the big artists (Joseco, fearingfun, Omi, etc..) in their work versus the smut you'll find on just about any porn site. I'm not trying to go "cloppin is classy *fedora tip*" here, but I'm serious that there's a difference in how things are presented and the intended effect. It's an interesting thing I'd like to know more about, because I look at the same thing when I look at the difference between perspectives of two well-drawn OCs and feel the desire to know one better than the other.

We are locking this topic. It stands as a monument to posting the same negative topics over and over again that exist elsewhere. For one, it feeds into self perpetuating negativity. It has been the source of drama multiple times now. Most importantly for me, it is duplicating and fragmenting other standalone discussions. Look, criticizing the fandom and the show are fine here ... but there is a way to do it. 

 

I am reminded of a Cosby Show episode where Cliff Huxtable claims that presentation is key when he compares serving a fillet minot on a trashcan lid. It obviously makes the steak less appetizing, just as some of these comments undermine an otherwise valid point. Ideas on a trashcan usually don't elevate discussion.
