The bugs you see most

one of the nice things about living downtown in a big city is that bugs are pretty rare.

there are a few flies, but they are surprising to see.

I guess I see mosquitoes the most because I like going on hikes.

Usually common house flies like mosquitoes and sometimes the famous "Aedes Aegypti", little brown spiders... however we get the occasional bee(if that counts) that finds its way into our house.

Let me tell you how fun it is to be stung by a bee.

My room has always had a high spider density. It's completely understandable if you're suspicious about sleeping in my room because some of my friends have told me about their unfortunate experiences of finding a spider on their pillow.

Fruit flies are another problem too, but upstairs instead. It's good to have fruit available but that has its downsides.

I'll see the occasional spider or fly in the house, but outside is a different story. Except during the winter, leave one crumb in the car, and the sweet ants will take over! They are particularly bad during the summer months after a thunderstorm.

Oh and can't forget mosquitoes.

Earwigs, palmetto bugs and the occasional Wolf Spider...sometimes an ant or two. Oddly enough the fire ants never come into the house even though we have little fire ant hills scattered all over the backyard.

Good ol Florida am I right.

June Bugs, Mosquitoes, Boxelder Bugs, Wasps, Mud Dobbers, and Lightning Bugs around here mostly.

And Mayflys! Plenty of them.

Oh! And idk what their real name is but we call them super hornets like the fighter jets. We see them every once in a while.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of fruit flies appearing in my bathroom. They seem to be attracted to the soap and shampoo. It's pretty sad going in there after I wake up to find about twenty of them have drowned in a bath puddle over night. Poor little things.

It's summer here in Korea, and these buildings AC units are filled with bugs. I've been spraying Raid around my room to keep them at bay, but they still get into my coworkers' rooms.

There are centipedes, big ass beetles, wasps, hornets, flies, silverfish, a few others that I can't name, and spiders. God, so many spiders.

One of my sergeants actually had this giant brown spider the size of his hand crawl into his room. He killed it, obviously, and he described the sound of stepping on it as "stepping on a Dorito."

...

Ugh. :yuck:

As a person who can't stand bugs, I'm glad that I'm leaving in a few months.
