What would you do if you get banished to the moon for 1000 years?

This might seem really predictable with me but I think having that much time to myself could allow for it. If I somehow could play video games on the Moon, I would complete all of the games I have ever started and never finished. Then I would try and beat hundreds of other games.

 

In between, I would build myself a moon base. A cool moon hangout.

It depends... if I landed on the sunny side, I would suffocate and fry... if I landed on the dark side, I would suffocate and freeze. Assuming I could somehow survive on the moon and not need to eat or breathe, I'd spend my time star watching and leaping like a mountain goat over the moon's mountains and plains.

I'd sleep. Alot. As for the times I wouldn't be sleeping, I'd work on a Moon-Rock Palace! Or make scupltures out of moon-rocks. I'm sure I'd get good at it at some point, if I'm really stuck on a moon for a thousand years without getting hungry, thirsty, or needing to breathe.

 

I could also work on some gigantic "painting" on the side of the moon, to confuse the inhabitatns of the planet the moon is circulating around, if there are any! I say "Painting", 'cause knowing me, I'd make something akin to what a hungover dog that's heavy on painkillers would make.

 

Actually, ah'd probably just do what I've done throughout my post for the whole thousand-year period. Ramble. Ramble my mind to shattered pieces, given that I can't make sounds in the "vacuum" of space.

Don't forget we're talking about a parallel universe   poniverse where the rules are different, e.g. there's no "man in the moon", it's Luna's face instead; so just as likely there could also be air there and everything. Maybe like H. G. Wells' vision of it, where the atmosphere freezes on the ground during the lunar night, and is boiled off and reconstituted the next morning. That would make for a really far-out lunar dawn. And in case you're wondering, in his book the natives lived in caverns underground where they could control the air and temperature and keep it constant. So I've always imagined that Luna was imprisoned in a cave or caves INSIDE the moon. (?)

Die, I'd suspect. Not that much oxygen on the moon, and a thousand years is a very long time.

 

More in the spirit of the question, though, I'd probably explore the entire moon several times over and start giving names to the rocks, as well as hosting parties with them like Pinkie did in Party Of One. Perhaps I'd designate an open plain as my notepad and begin writing a novel in the moon dust. Without wind it'd be there forever, and I could probably fill a nice area with stories. I'd probably miss my backspace key, though.

If I was an ordinary human with its lifespan so short as it is, I'd very likely die in the process. But if I was able to live as long as alicorns do, then I wouldn't. But as I'd be sealed in the Moon itself, I'd probably spend the years in some sort of an unconscious state. Which sounds like sleep and sleep is good.

But since the silhouette of Nightmare Moon's head was traced onto the Moon, would it mean that this time it would be my face that's visible to everyone on Earth?    That would be certainly unsettling.
