Worst Movie You Ever Seen

Probably either Divergent (terrible movie adaptation) or Godzilla's Revenge (yes, its worse than the 1998 one).

Cheesiest? Them. Cheesy movie about giant ants.

Also, why do people hate BvS so much? Its not that bad. I'm a Marvel and DC fan.

Because it didn't go anywhere
The pacing was so confusing that I couldn't understand what was going on half the time, I walked away from that movie trying to make sense of what I just watched. You could genuinely play that movie backwards and it would make just as much sense.

As for the worst movie I've seen, I'm gonna have to go with Son of the Mask
I don't understand why but when I was little i used to love this movie. Now watching it just makes me feel uncomfortable.

I didn't find it confusing, but hey, opinions are opinions.

I don't normally watch movies, and when I do it's usually in health class on Fridays. We have a very limited amount of movies to choose from, and I think the worst I've seen is one of the X-Men (or was it avengers..?) movies.

We all have dreams.

Blair Witch 2 Book of Shadows is definitely up there for me. It was an insult to what the first film was. I know the first movie is divisive among viewers, but I loved it and I think we can all agree that the second movie was absolute garbage. The acting was terrible, the plot made no sense whatsoever, it had random imagery for the sake of random imagery, and it wasn't creepy in the slightest. It was just dumb. It was simply an exploit on the first film's popularity and not much else.

I can't think of the worst movie I've ever watched right now, but the worst movie I've seen recently will have to be the Assassin's Creed movie adaption. The pacing was inconsistent, confused direction and a sequel threat looming afterwards..

That, and -- you know -- Batman and Lex Luthor were blatantly OOC (I've seen YouTube Poop-versions more accurate than these guys!), and Wonder Woman and Doomsday were just... there.

Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween remake.

I know there are films WORSE than this out there, but being the picky film watcher I am, I only watch something that I know I'll enjoy; meaning I avoid most of the dredge. Watching this film was out of my control as I watched it at a friends house and it was his choice, so logically, it didn't pass my quality control. To say this film disappointed and irritated me was an understatement, it added a backstory to Mike Myers' character which ruined the flow and pace of the film from the start and prolonged the inevitable violent slasher film it became, making it seem overly pretentious having to pad out a simple premise with meaning that we didn't need to have. Having seen the original since, I can appreciate it's subtlety and intensity in performance, music and direction, and to be reminded of how cookie cutter this remake was in comparison was disappointing, with many acting performances that were considerably wooden by modern standard. The only positive I found coming out of it is that Malcom McDowell's role as Dr. Loomis was superbly acted, and he was the reason I kept watching... outside of that though, it doesn't do anything for me and left me reeling at what time I'd wasted watching it.

Sure, I could've also listed the mid-90's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Movie for being spectacularly bad in many aspects, 2003's League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen for being an overly long and confusing film despite some good acting and visuals or 2002's Cats & Dogs given how horrible the CGI animals look, how dreadful it was scripted and acted as my Worst Film. Then again, I saw those as a kid, meaning I didn't know any better. To have watched the Halloween remake as a teenager/adult having done Film Studies and gained an understanding of how films should be made, I knew how bad it was from the outset. Since then, I've avoided any films that could provoke my ire, and I thank Rob Zombie's re-imaganing of a classic horror film for it.

Not to mention the quite glaring plot hole of "We're sitting on top of 7k nukes but based on the minute chance he could actually be evil Superman is a threat that can't be ignored"

The worst movie that i can remember recently is Personal Shopper, that movie is goddamn awful, and the fact Rotten Tomatoes gave it 80% fresh make me buy a ticket for that movie PISSED ME OFF. Never trust Rotten Tomatoes ever again.

I was trying to think of the worst movie I watched... And then it hit me... In the Cold Light of Day... It was so damn boring, bland writing and even blander characters... The "action" sequences were some of the most boring parts in the movie.. The worst part was that I confused it with Looper, so I was selling everyone on this movie, telling them how good the trailer looked... When we came out of the cinema I probably apologised the most I've ever done...

James Cameron's Avatar has got to be one of the most dull, boring, uninspired, mediocre films that I have ever seen.

Why it is getting 4 sequels, when no one cares about it anymore, is a mystery to me.

Sunshine Barry and The Disco Worms, or Dwegons and Leprechauns. I don't know how anybody looked at these and thought they were ok.  Add in Adam Sandler's That's My Boy for good measure. That movie felt like it would never end.

The worst movie I've ever watched? I have to say the 1994 film Dune. It's so boring, the pacing is EXCEPTIONALLY BAD (Too slow at the beginning, too fast at the end), and the plot was either really simple or I didn't catch most of it because I wasn't able to pay attention to it because it's boringness made me drowsy, either way not a well-written story. Chicken Little would be probably number 2, and we all know how much of an atrocity it was.

Those are probably the only two exceptionally bad movies I ever watched.

This, but I would add Star Trek: The Final Frontier. The plot was downright stupid, it completely didn't fit in the series of movies,  and worst of all a quarter of it is wasted with Kirk, Spock, and Mccoy singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" or somebody making the stupidest remarks, or talking about who some people consider god. I feel like that was Shatner's fault, considering it's the only movie where he had any part in writing or directing. I'm glad he didn't do that again, because the sixth movie was probably the best one.

Well, there are bad movies, and there are BAD movies.

Personally, I love schlock films (like Troma flicks), so I'd be hard pressed to really name off 'bad' movies as bad... buuuuuuuuuuut, if I absolutely HAD to name off a movie I wished I had never seen, it would be that piece of hollow garbage known as 'Napoleon Dynamite'.

I saw it when it first came out on video - and I had absolutely NO CLUE as to why this film was as RAVED OVER as it was.  I mean, don't get me wrong - it's kitsch, and parody kitsch as well... but I don't even find it passingly funny, nor 'full of heart' like I've heard some folks say.  The entire movie drags itself slowly through its' running time, and even the lame attempt at a 'funny dance routine' at the end comes across to me as a desperate try at getting a pandering laugh in passing.

FEH, this thing is swill

The overly-obvious juvenile humor being performed by folks obviously closer to their thirties than teenagerdom was done FAR better in countless other movies and shows, and I honestly have not the first clue why this rather dumb and lackluster movie became such an iconic film for the time... except that it pushes me further into believing the rumours of Hollywood bribery and blackmail being as rampant as they are purported to be.

'Napoleon Dynamite' : No bang, no buck.  Watching paint dry is better... and BY FAR more entertaining.
