Are there any ponies SO bad, They're Irredeemable

Throughout the series, Many MLP villains have been reformed, even ones that we never imagined would reach that.

However I'm under the impression that not everypony in Equestria is worth redeeming. Chances are that there are ponies out there so mean, nasty, despicable, etc. that all the friendship lessons would be just wasted on them. 

I imagine that ponies of that caliber would do such cruel acts on other ponies such as verbally and even physically abusing them. 

Is there a chance of there being any villains beyond the point of hope for reformation in MLP: FIM

It seems like Sombra's pretty much a bad guy for the long haul. The same could be said for Chrysalis; it would take some major plot gymnastics to bring either one of them back now.

Tirek maybe... hard to say since he was just power hungry, but did not seem intent on killing anyone.

Chrysalis... I dunno... I want to say she won't be redeemed, but ever since S6 I am not 100% sure.

Sombra was redeemed in the comics.

Beyond them.... naw... and I don't know if we will ever see such a thing in the show. It is a kids cartoon that aims to show positive things when possible... and to be irredeemable, they would have to do something truly awful I would imagine, which would go against some of what Hasbro wants to portray with the brand. I don't think you are going to see assassination, murder, or physical torture portrayed upon the show... and those would really be the only irredeemable crimes in my eyes. Everything else, whether I agree with it or not, they could song and dance it into forgiveness if they wanted to.

If Sombra can be redeemed in the comics, than I guess literally anyone can be redeemed, even if I really, really, really, really don't want to see characters like Tirek or Chrysalis get reformed in the show.

Angel Bunny is beyond redemption!

Seriously, they can redeem anyone. There are characters that would be harder to swallow than others. Chrysalis is one such character. Not for her actions, but because it raises a lot of questions regarding Thorax. I will say whatever her final fate is, it is almost guaranteed to be decided by her own species.

He's a centaur, not a pony, but I'd like to think Tirek has no chance of ever being redeemed. Pure evil, with complete disregard for even his own brother.

Besides obvious super villains like Chrysalis, Tirek, etc?(honestly I'm going to avoid them because they're evilness is in the realm of fantasy)

Probably more "down to earth" or realistic characters like Spoiled Rich or Sven Gallop

I do believe that. I also believe that's the reason tartarus exists for ponys that aren't worth redemption.

Equestria's society mimics in many ways our, so I won't discard lower-key, but even more realistic and crueler villains. Hell, I thinks there's at least one mafia group operating in Manehattan. Don't remember which episode, but had a cement block as cutie mark. 

 

I doubt the show will blatantly address them, but I'm pretty sure there are gangs, serial killers, pedophiles, and other sort of scum that exist in real life
