Twilight has had far more screentime than anyone else this season. Celestial Advice, A Flurry of Emotions, Fame and Misfortune, and Once Upon a Zeppelin are all hers, and she played a big role in "A Royal Problem" too.

I would actually like that as well. Starlight has really only bonded with Twilight and Spike. And yes it is implied that she bonded with the others off screen, but she doesn't seem too have the same type of connection she has with Spike and Twilight. So it'd be nice too actually see her interact with the mane six.

She couldn't help but be part of what the problem was in A Royal Problem, sometimes she needs to take a step back and let her friends do the jobs rather than always getting involved all the time.

I hope it doesn't turn into another group together where they just stand there and let the OP Magic do all the work and Twilight gets most of the credit. It just gets repetitive and lacks originality, it's why I hated Twilight's Kingdom and I avoid the EG series. They're too afraid to come up with something different and they all look too similar to each other with only the themes and villains being the difference. They also ruined what was the best seasons of the show with that mediocre finale.

But Twilight is the only one who has real magic. So it's kind of hard too say resonably that the other mane six could take on Tirek one on one. Also not sure which season you mean when you say medicore finale. Twilight has always been the focus of the season finale's except a few examples. Which is why TWABA was a big deal because it was the first finale where the mane six played no role what so ever.

I was talking about Season 4, seems like most of the praise was because of Tirek, put another villain there and it would be a different story.

There is a VERY small chance that was a typo and the press meant Starlight Glimmer instead. Could sound impossible but in past we had to do with a few misleading synopsises (The Times are a Changeling mistakenly mentioned Sunburst instead of Starlight, and the Mirror Magic one made it sound like Starlight and Sunset would have teamed up to save the other Humane 6.... and then Starlight did all the work there). That's pretty much what I'm worried about. I hope I'm just being paranoic about it...

One idea that I had for the finale is that the Pony of Shadows does something horrible to Starlight, forcing Twilight and Shadow Lock to stop the antagonist and save Starlight.  Sort of like Twilight returning the favor of Starlight rescuing her one season ago.

This isn't a synopsis though, it's an official press release, so I'd take it a bit more seriously.

I agree and I expect the finale to be more Twilight or Mane Six centric as well. Last year's finale was a fun change of pace, but I don't expect that to be the new normal. Heck, add in some Spike to it. The Season 5 finale definitely benefitted from him being included.

Yeah, but she had a personality back then, now she just appear for no reason or only for a few scenes in a episode all because she is "more important" to most ponies or she is just riding her name and past success.
