Queen! Without question or doubt the best band to ever roam the earth. Not one came close.  My second and third are Toto and Red Hot Chili Peppers with u2 coming close.

I'd like to say that I have a NUMBER of bands I consider to be top-notch... but a FAVORITE?

I will call the criteria for A FAVORITE band as follows:

To qualify, it should be that you not only know most (if not all) of their musical catalog, but are aware of their history and a few factoids.

With this in mind, I have to narrow it down to THREE...
