How Angry would Twilight Sparkle be if someone were to harm Starlight Glimmer?

Ever since the Season 7 premier back in April of this year, I always had an assumption that Twilight Sparkle has become a bit overprotective of Starlight Glimmer.  That she has a fear that something bad was going to happen to her star pupil.  But I wonder, what would happen if Twilight's own fear became a reality?  That someone(Like Chrysalis or Tirek) were to physically harm Starlight Glimmer?  How enraged would Twilight be, in your own opinion?

In my mind, I would see Twilight's anger level reach a point beyond what she normally goes through.  Even more so than when Tirek destroyed her home in the Season 4 finale.  Her concern for Starlight's well-being could be her own personal berserk button if something horrible happened to Starlight.

I would kinda agree, even though its hard to lose, a home is replaceable... somepony like starlight isn't... I mean, twilight cares for her a lot...

I think Twilight would destroy the person who touched Starlight. A giant eating centaur is no exeption.

Twilight would no doubt be pissed, but if Starlight's alive, she wouldn't go too far with her revenge plot. She wouldn't kill the perp. Just beat the everloving shit out of him and ask Celestia to put him in Tartarus.

Trixie would be the most furious of all though. I bet whatever happens with Starlight would be enough to push her into getting the Alicorn Amulet back. After that, there's no guarantees....

I think Twilight will get angry with anyone who harm any of her friends, not just Starlight.

Twilight Sparkle = Starlight Glimmer.
So hurting Starlight would be equivalent as hurting Twilight.
So she'll be pretty damn pissed !

I think Twilight's concern in "Celestial Advice" is pretty telling. If she was THAT concerned with letting her go, I can't imagine what would happen if Starlight was hurt or killed. Remember that mental scene of her where she imagined Garble jumping into lava WITH Starlight?

I'm pretty sure Garble would have a pretty bad time after that.

She is likely to be as angry as she would be if someone was to harm any of her close friends, but I doubt she would be overprotective of Starlight to the point of being angrier if someone hurt Starlight than the rest of the mane six.

Not sure if Twilight would actually harm anypony. She would fight for her friends, but this is not DBZ where emotions lead to cool fighting scenes (season 4 was odd and doesn't count)

Also, Starlight has a more powerful laser attack than Twilight. She can take care of herself.

She probably would attempt to fight whoever hurt Starlight even though she would most likely lose. Beating Starlight isn't easy.

Well it depends. If it was an accident, they I wouldn't think so. But if was intentional, then I would think Twilight would be angry. But I think Starlight can handle herself
