Worst type of place you could work at

From what I've heard, working specifically at a Wal-Mart is among the worst. They treat their employees like actual $#!+. Especially one by where my BF lives. They always have as few workers as possible, pay them minimum wage, give them no benefits, and worst of all, THIS IS A PRETTY BIG F***ING WAL-MART. IT HAS 24 F***ING CHECKOUT AISLES. AND THEY'RE NEVER OPEN! That means A COUPLE DOZEN people without jobs because they're such scummy, greedy $#!+s. I mean every time we've went they've only had FIVE OR SIX EMPLOYEES IN THE ENTIRE F***ING STORE! EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!

 

In other words, they're essentially slaves that are forced into doing absurd amounts of labor so they can make, what ends up being, a joke of a paycheck.

 

Oh and they don't treat consumers all that well either, but that's for another day.

Now for me, it's any job on my feet. Which is sad because those are the only kinds of jobs I have experience in. But chronic foot pain has made work where I have to stand up/walk hell.

All jobs where rough manly men work (like construction, fishing, etc). I'm just too soft for this. Also call centers, sometimes I pity them for the amount of insults they get on a daily basis

I said mine just because of how dangerous and low paying it is, although mining jobs aren't really a thing anymore I still think it would be really scary what with the risk of the mine collapsing and what not.

Any job where the people running the place have no respect for their employees or any other humans. It is really hard to want to work for someone who doesn’t even try to respect anyone.

While stationed in Korea, I worked on a flight line that had been abandoned for years and was pretty much condemned. The runway and office spaces were still serviceable, but the hangars were really old buildings. During a hurricane one of the hangars collapsed, thankfully nobody was hurt. But we did learn that the hangars had lots of Chromium-6 and asbestos in them. The bomb shelters on the flight line had lots of mold in them too, and the drainage ditches were overfilled with vegetation.

I used to worked at a Deli and in my own experiences, it's the worst. Especially it's just you at the front trying to cut 100+ meats and cheese and making damn sandwiches for lunch and dinner.

Having just come out of a full time call center job that sent me on a weeks long mental decline, I can still safely say it doesn't hold a candle to how bad fast food work is.

And having worked in both fast food and for Amazon, I can safely say fast food doesn't hold a candle to how bad Amazon is.

I couldn't work in a Meat processing plant or any job involving Meat would make me feel sick. Working in a Mineshaft wouldn't be ideal either would be terrible for your lunges.

Also A steel mill would suck if there's an accident  I would much rather a bucket of cold water than molten steel.

Eh I have a very high adaptability I can do any job I want. Of course though I prefer to be using my expertise so anything regarding businesses, running a business, starting a business, investing and entrepreneurship would be ideal to me. In fact to me worst place to work is somewhere I would not be able flourish and nurture my education I want to learn and study from the workplace. So anywhere that's not requiring some type of thinking or skills would suck.

I find that coworkers and management have a huge impact on how great the work is. That said, there are certain places that I would never want to touch even with good coworkers, like a meat processing plant or a mine, among a few others on this list. Oh my.
