What's your night routine?

We have a "morning" routine thread, so what about a night routine one? :O Is there anything you usually do before going to bed?

I usually watch TV because it helps me relax. I also have to make sure my fan is on, my favorite comfort items are on my bed and my nightlight is working. I also sleep with my Patamon as well, and I have to make sure he's in my arms when I sleep. sue me i'm autistic lol.

In the evening I'm using computer. I'm sure I will start to write some fanfic before going to the bed.

And in the bed, I'm making sure that I sleep with Starlight's figure. And... I'm praising Her as God before the bed and say some ritual things before actualy sleeping. Don't ask me why.

Check various social media one last time, maybe get a bunch of tabs loaded with youtube videos to watch the next day, place all my pocket items in the same place so I can put them back in tomorrow, plug in my electronic devices, check if the moon is out, feed my goldfish, find something to fall asleep to, then go to bed.

I mean... stay up until I pass ou-

I mean. I usually bathe with a book so it takes me like an hour of laying in hot tub of water, then just eat stuff if I haven't eaten already, teeth washing routine and launch something random on YT on PC to have it play on the headphones while I fall asleep. Unfortunately, sometimes I forget to turn stuff off and headphones discharge during the night :x

Late in the evening, I often check the weather forecast and radar to confirm good conditions. If it's clear, I will setup one of my telescopes with imaging gear and enjoy the night sky, til I damn near fall asleep. Otherwise, I will watch some youtube videos, shower, and head to bed.

I usually take a nap in the early evening, then get up, work on a creative project or sometimes drop in on the forums here, unwind with a movie with a small snack and then go back to bed until morning rears its unwelcome head.

I do most of my living at night. I get up in the evening, around 5 or 6, take a shower and eat something quick, then I'll either do some odd jobs, visit my gf or practice/perform with a community theater group. After that, I come home, watch a movie and take a nocturnal outing which usually consists of climbing up on the roof to enjoy the scenery, venturing into weird places just to explore, or spontaneously following any amusing impulse that suggests itself. My nighttime adventures can vary a lot, which is why I like them. Then I come home again and go to bed before the sun rises.

Before I go to bed, I do these things in order:

  1. Forget to turn on the dining room light and have a mini-anxiety attack because it's dark in my room and my window's open
  2. Turn on the light in the dining room so I can see inside of my bedroom
  3. Turn on the light in my room.
  4. Turn off the light in the dining room.
  5. Close the windows and the curtains so I don't get scared someone's going to see me through the window. However illogical that really is.
  6. After all of this, still sit as my heart beats wildly and I get a little short of breath.
  7. Try as hard as I can to go to sleep. It takes some time.

I usually go to bed around six in the morning. But this is a rough list of what I usually do. :-P

- Shutdown the computer.

- Check that the doors are locked.

- Brush my teeth.

- Move the plushies from my bed.

- Check that the bed is free of spiders.

- Assemble the mass of cushions, pillows and quilts into a suitable sleepy time arrangement.

- Turn off the lights climb into bed and lay there for a couple of minutes.

- Get back up to check that I actually switched the computer off and check that I actually locked the doors.

- Sleep until 2pm or until something commits the heinous crime of disturbing my slumber. (If disturbed by intruder: proceed to make angry noises and chase them off with a giant wooden fork)

Most of the time I tend to watch a video or two while having a small snack. Helps calm the nerves which is something that is very needed for me for sleeping, unless I am extremely tired. I prefer staying up until I am really tired, makes things easier.

Funny, I was just discussing this with a friend of mine a couple days ago. :dash:

1. Take a shower if needed

2. Put pajamas on

3. Watch some tv maybe idk 

4. Feed pets for the night/put them to bed.

5. Brush teeth

6. Make up bed 

7. Get a glass of water for the night

8. Use the bathroom

9. Lie in bed and browse the forums and/or chat with friends one last time before I fall asleep.

10. Fall asleep. :P

First, I take any medications that I need to for the night.

Brush and floss my teeth.

Scroll the internet for an hour or two.

drink some water and go to the bathroom one last time.  Make sure all lights are off.

Double-check the front door to see if I locked it already.

Lay in bed until I fall asleep.

Well mine depends greatly on whether or not I’m working late nights...

So on a day I’m not working late, it goes something like this:

  1. Shower
  2. Take care of my rabbits for the night
  3. Get in bed and watch YouTube or listen to music, or text people....or browse the forums heheh
  4. Finally get tired and fall asleep, some nights with my phone still on my chest after I wake up ^_^

5. open the window (if not already open)

6. undress myself

7. turn of the lights

8. go to bed

9. try to sleep

Brush teeth, mouthwash, go to bathroom one last time, change into night clothes, browse through internet on my phone or computer, then go to bed.
