Opinions on cat MLP OCs?

Okay, so... I love cats. When I saw Capper I was so excited. The movie made me think about non-pony OCs a bit more, which brought me to this question:

What do you guys think about cat MLP OCs? I really haven't seen any, but I kinda wanted to make one.

I feel the movie introduced quite a bit to the MLP canon. Looking at the sea ponies as an example, I think having a few feline friends wouldn’t be a bad idea. 

As long as they are well researched and well written, I would be glad to RP with a kitty kat oc.
