I'm only watching it for Nintendo direct. The following things i'm looking for are the new SSBU DLC fighter so these leaks (and possibly dataminers) would stop predicting ahead if their info are proven false, the AC switch, and yes, many AC fans and players are looking forward to it, the LoZ Link's Awakening remake although my concerns if the remake will have DX version's content to stay intact, more info on sword / shield, hopefully some Kirby game as well, but not sure where that adventure will take me next. The other question that I wanted to know is paper Mario as well.

That's not going to happen, though. Although I wish it would, because the rumored next DLC character is not looking exciting at all. Oh well, I guess unexciting DLC characters just save me money. lol

Apparently those rumors are based on chance whether it's gonna be true or false. The other infromation that i needed to know was yo--kai watch 4 for the switch, but not sure if it's gonna be on this presentation. If not, then it will be a while

Square killed it this year, lots of good things this year. FF VII Remake and Avengers, tons of JRPG love, localizations, FFVIII is finally getting a remaster

I gotta say, I am extremely excited for Elden Ring. It's basically open world Norse Souls. Namco is publishing again and Fromsoft is working with George RR Martin on it.

Cyberpunk 2077 looks amazing. The remakes/remasters of Final Fantasy VII and VIII have got my hyped. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot looks awesome. Jedi: Fallen Order looks solid. Marvel's Avengers has me hyped. And I might give Elden Ring a chance even though I'm not much of a GRRM fan, mostly because of the Dark Souls developers being involved in this project.

I'm moderately excited for the Nintendo Direct. For all we know, we could see a Bravely Default Character get in, because of the word Brave in the code. Or we could see Yooka-Laylee get in, instead of Banjo-Kazooie.

Oh my god,

Spoiler

Banjo and Kazooie are coming back to a Nintendo Console through Super Smash Bros!

And @PathfinderCS, you were right. The Spyro Trilogy is coming to Switch, after all!

Also, while Animal Crossing is delayed until March, I am very satisfied.

Luigi's Mansion is also high on my list

And it's been a while since I played Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

and apparently, you can make custom Zelda Dungeons in Link's Awakening remake for the Switch? There's an idea that actually has been around since the original NES game

Nintendo's Direct was fairly decent, they actually showed us a bunch of games with actual GAMEPLAY, something most of these other idiot companies don't understand. With that said though, E3 this year for me was mostly a dud. Microsoft's showing was terrible, EA and Ubisoft are doing their typical crap and Bethesda continues to be a burning pile of garbage. Nintendo was the only one with a decent showing, but even that still left me feeling unenthused. We finally got to see Animal Crossing and it is delayed to next year, so my most looked forward to game this year is no longer in this year. Banjo and Kazooie in Smash is great, especially after the reveal of generic anime Swordsman #50 million at the start of the Direct, but Rare wasn't even mentioned by name at Microsoft's conference, so it feels extremely weird seeing Banjo in Smash with absolutely nothing else to accompany him. We got absolutely nothing new for Nintendo Switch Online, which continues to be a hideously outdated service with not even bare minimum offerings. We couldn't get at least SNES games by this point? The sting of no Virtual Console continues. No basic messaging STILL??? Come on.

I know I am being a negative pone here, but E3 this year up to this point had worn me down with disappointment after disappointment and stupid companies being somehow even more stupid. Nintendo still came out on top, but that wasn't hard to do. I do appreciate their showing, and I still liked it. My enthusiasm right now is simply drained though.

Animal Crossing delayed to 2020. Jesus, Nintendo. They always pull this with Animal Crossing, and it hurts. Once Link's Awakening was leaked for September 2019, I knew what was going to happen. I knew one title wasn't going to make it this year, and of course it is Animal Crossing. It's always Animal Crossing.

Oh well, at least we're still getting Pokemon this year.

I did not expect to see a Breath of the Wild sequel. That's super exciting, but it actually looks really creepy. Personally, I've liked how the newer Zeldas have had less of that horror stuff. But if it is open world like BoTW (it has to be, right?), I'm sure it will be a blast.

Well at least they're taking the time to make it good.

Not to mention Spyro is also in the Crash Team Racing remaster; pretty good day for Spyro fans. :D

I'm pretty content with Nintendo's presentation, though I'm a sad that Animal Crossing got delayed until 2020. I'll admit, Banjo-Kazooie appearing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is pretty exciting, considering the amount of people who wanted him in. I'm certainly looking forward to the release of the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - as I have a lot of nostalgia for that game. The ability of constructing your own dungeons is definitely something that I'm willing to try out, once I am able to.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

After watching Nintendo's E3 direct, I can say that it was okay but it wasn't the best thing to come out of the show as some in the media are saying. I knew Animal Crossing was going to be delayed for had it been released this year, it would've been completely overshadowed by Pokémon Sword & Shield, and that would've been an absolute disaster. Pokémon is just too big of a juggernaut for other games to be able to compete with it. So the delay didn't surprise me at all. Another problem Nintendo had was how they showcased too many games and didn't give enough time to them.

Sure, they had their Treehouse Live events after the direct, but many don't like watching those for some reason, or forget that they even exist. Perhaps in future, it would be best to focus on what's coming in more detail and leaving what won't be for a while out or perhaps do something separate for them. With regards to a sequel of Breath of the Wild... I'm not sure if this is a good idea. Breath of the Wild reinvented the Zelda series so to make a sequel ruins the magic BotW set out to achieve as well as makes Nintendo out to be nothing more than churning out sequels for a profit. What no one is saying--or perhaps a few people--is how Metroid Prime 4 was a no-show. Does this mean development is further behind schedule or perhaps Retro Studios simply wasn't ready? Who knows.

I'm aware of the Banjo-Kazooie announcement and I have something to say to that. They should've saved it and the BotW announcement for a later date. By revealing them during E3 the way they did, these two have overshadowed everything else Nintendo showcased, and Nintendo can't afford to do things like that. They need those other games to retain hype given how there isn't much on the Switch right now in terms of new games. Third party software can only go so far I'm afraid. Overall, Nintendo's direct was okay but I've seen better. I think they need to focus on less in more detail rather than throwing announcement after announcement without much to go on.

I will give the direct one major prop. They did a great job with the Doug Bowser joke that's been running around. In fact, I was wondering when they themselves were going to do it just to say that they did.

@Ganondorf8 Personally, I'm very pleased with Nintendo's rapid-fire approach. I got myself to watch the Ubisoft conference just in case they might announce a new Assassin's Creed, and they lingered waayyyy too long on every game. They even showed trailers for many games like two times IIRC. That was so painful to watch.

Last year Nintendo kind of did that with Super Smash Bros Ultimate and a lot of people were rightfully unhappy. It was nice to get that info about SSBU, but it just really showed how they had nothing else to show.

Nintendo had a lot to show this year. They easily could have overloaded us with 10 minute sessions talking about Fire Emblem, Super Mario Maker 2, etc. but thank god they didn't. They lingered on nothing. In fact, them doing separate Pokemon and Super Mario Maker 2 Directs was a nice move. The Direct kept on moving on and that was the best.

I don't think that Breath of the Wild 2 and Banjo & Kazooie in Smash overshadowed other things. I think they were just the final punch that made this Direct super exciting for people. I still haven't processed how exciting BOTW2 is because I adore BOTW so much. But it most certainly did not overshadow the new Animal Crossing, which is the game that has me the most hyped due to how we actually got to see gameplay.

Thanks Nintendo and Square for making sure this E3 wasn't a total bust

That was a really good Direct, I can see why people loved it so much. Lots of great games revealed and more info on upcoming games. Lots of good surprises, was expecting the Mana Collection, but not the remake of the 3rd game, same with Witcher 3 port, the Panzer Dragoon remake, and especially Banjo-Kazooie in Smash, I felt that was gonna be impossible(even if Microsoft said yes to Smash, I totally expected them wanting Steve or Master Chief instead). Animal Crossing getting delayed is unfortunate, but given all of the horror stories recently regarding crunch culture to make deadlines, I'd rather they just delay the game to make the game as best as they can

Also, No More Heroes 3! And Breath of the Wild remake

Honestly, I've been more invested in the E3 trailers Sony has been dropping on their official Youtube channel lately, and they're not even at E3 this year!

Am I the only one who thinks Nessa looks like an Inkling from Splatoon?

Oh yeah, Deamon X Machina and Astral Chain both look sick.
