science Do We Really Use 100% Of Our Brains?

While electrical impulses may course through every part of the brain all the time, that doesn’t necessarily mean we are actually using all those parts. I may have life in all of my limbs but sometimes if I’m sitting lazily in my chair it would be hard to differentiate me from a corpse. The question might be tweaked to ask, ‘Do we use 100% of our brains productively?’ There are so many abilities of the brain that are dormant and never see their potential. For example, psychic abilities; very few people have the gift, but those who do are simply using an aspect of their brains that others haven’t been able to tap into. If we could learn how to access and control every part of our brains we’d be astounded at the amazing abilities that are never used.  So, while we may literally ‘use’ every part of our brains in term of electrical impulses and blood circulation, huge possibilities will never be used at all because we simply don’t know how.

Now why would I want to use my brain for anything. Let alone that much of it

I doubt we use every part all at once, but whoever said we only use 10% sounds absolutely ridiculous because there's no way we use that little.
