Feeling like there was a gate in front of me that is locked, but there is something on the other side that I would like yet there is another gate which is basically the same as other but it isn't locked only difference behind the gates is that I been used to the other side of the first gate more. The grass is greener and the contrast is much better.

I'm feeling pretty satisfied with myself. I've finally done something about light pouring into my bedroom early in the morning.

After work, I went to Canadian tire and bought some velcro stips; I used them to attach my blinds to the frame of the window. Light no longer bleeds in through the gap in the blinds and it is glorious. I've already enjoyed a nap in there. It was a bit of an issue because my bed happens to be at just the right angle to get a face-full of sun at 5 AM.

I don;t know...tomorrow is start of  late night nursing school for me, gonna be stuck with a bunch of kss-up students. Lets not be all uppity now, we're just nurse trainee learning how to pick up doo-doos.

Pleased with myself now that I've finished trimming the front (and side) hedge. (Did the back hedge earlier.) Now have a wheely bin, two garden waste bags and 8 black plastic refuse sacks full of hedge clippings. Also got a machine for scarifying the grass.

Sad... just really sad. I went back and read my LJ entries from 10 years ago just because. I ended up seeing all of the interactions my ex and I had and it breaks my heart. I had such a good friend, someone who would regularly socialize with me and now that's gone. I have no social life anymore.
