Long ago, I went by the name 14bbrocks. Reason for that was my cousin created a YouTube for us all, and made up that name when she was 14 (becca boo rocks). She didn't use it anymore, so I took it with permision. Later when I wanted my own name, I changed myself to ToiletKing314 for a while, because I'm weird, and it was funny. 314 for pi. Well when I was in a texting comm on my iPod, under that name, my friend (the same one who got me to what the show) said that I should change it. I listened, and changed it to TheMemeKing, but within minutes she said she did not want to call me that, so I took that off. Then I got an idea. I was new to the fandom, and found I loved Pinkie Pie right away (as most people find their character) and so I made my name "Pinkie Pie Jr", which later got squished all together as "PinkiePieJr" for the username of which I have kept from that day over a year ago (or more, can't remember) and every site I go to that I log into, I use that name, and the profile pic. I have, which I painted on my iPod after seeing s3e9, and falling in love with Pinkie's quote with the mustache. I plan on continueing with this name for a long time. I even prefer to be called by it then by my own legal birth name.

I originally was just using a name I used on WoW for years, then the same day I joined I switched to using my OC's name. My most recent username? Well... if I gotta explain that then I suppose I must be talking to Humdrum. I couldn't believe it wasn't taken, grabbed it the following Monday after "Power Ponies" aired.

The Super 80 is a cool name for an airplane.. and it's my favorite. I didn't want to change my name too much; I still wanted people to recognize me to an extent, so kept Wolf in the name since "winging" is a pretty odd term that not a lot of people use..too odd for my taste, at least with something that isn't wolf (i.e., no "WinginBadger" or "WinginShark").

My current username is a reference to the philosophical concept of "Justice as Fairness" as proposed by the pivotal American political philosopher John Rawls.  When I first got into MLP:FiM, I was studying him and became sort of a fanboy, even to the point of trying to mesh his work with the show's ideology.  (And my current avatar can be interpreted as Rawls ponified.)

 

Now I'm kind of embarrassed of it, not because I now disagree with him (though I do know of and have my own qualms of his philosophy), but because it doesn't seem to be my big interest anymore.  I'm thinking about having some operatic reference now.

Mine is a bit....distasteful, but at the time I thought it was very clever.

My original gaming/username was Agginallik. I took it from my friend's sister's fiance's XBox LIVE Gamertag. Now, for the sake of what I assume the rules would be, I'm not going to acknowledge out loud what significance the name has. But if you can do it yourself, then you'll know.

Mine started back in 2010, when I was a huge fan of the TV show premiering on Animal Planet, "Must Love Cats". My already existing love of cats, plus how much I liked the show, sparked an even bigger love of cats. This spark was still roaring when I signed up for the Minecraft Forums, as I am also a Minecrafter, and the name was so easy to remember I just keep using it over and over on all the sites I signed up on, even after my show "Must Love Cats" was canceled .

Well, I choose Promethean Alicorn for several reasons, but I'll just give a few:

 

A. The avatar/sign i have is actually a Halo 4 rare armor set called the FOTUS.  In the Halo Universe, it is considered to be an Extra-Terrestrial armor set, designed by the Prometheans. 

 

B. Its obviously Extra-Terrestrial (yet, im waiting to ponify it)

 

C. Not a single MLP character has a background of Space, so I had Promethean Alicorn as the ETA (Extra-Terrestrial Alicorn).

 

D. Named after the Greek God Prometheus, who was highly intelligent.

 

HINT: He's actually one of my OC's in my fan fiction.

Wind Chaser, my ponysona, is an unemployed weak flyer who looks up to others who have talents much greater than his but never takes the time to develop his own, hence, "chasing others' wind". The name "Wind Chaser" was suggested by SolarFox, but I read this meaning into it.

I chose my display name based off an NES game I played earlier today.  My username across the network is "Picking_A_Good_Username_Is_Hard."  That's pretty self explanatory I think.  I dunno.  I wanted to make an account, but really didn't feel like being "creative" nor did I feel like recycling old usernames from other places.

Slightly off topic I wonder how they manage to pick names for new ponies on the show.  Eh, that's a topic for another thread, though.
