Jonathan. It comes from the Hebrew הוֹנָתָן and means "God has given" or "Gift of God". It's too long for my taste, and I've always thought it sounded dorky, so I usually go by Jon, hoping people will think that my name is John, instead.

'Incognito' is the Latin word for disguised.

'Kiwoy' is just something I made up in my toddler years for cats.

All the same, It's original, so I won't be needing to worry about it already being taken.

Grayson

Grayson? What a cute first name!

Are you sure it meant 'gray-bearded man'? Last time I checked, it was a name for young, heroic, acrobatic wards! (Sorry- not sorry.)

My name apparently means "spear ruler", if I ever heard of a porn star with the first name "Jerry" I am going to laugh my ass off.

My name is Mitchell, which is Hebrew for "Gift from God", It is also American for "Like God". I find this kind of ironic since I'm an Atheist.

also my last name means manly, "the descendant of Andrew (manly); one who was manly."

so it is definitive... I am a manly god like person that watches a show for little girls

Christian means... well... Christian.

In other translations it's also "Follower of Christ" or "Believer in Christ" which is hilariously ironic because I'm an athiest.

My name, Summer, means... well, "summer". Kind of wished I had a name with a less obvious meaning, though. :P

My name's Eduard, it means protector of the people. It's a funny coincidence that plenty of people come to me for advice or see me like some kind of brother, kinda awesome in my opinion hehe

I see there are other Erics in here too! Nice. Didn't know of any others on the forum before today. One of them is actually "Erik," but that counts too. :P

As stated on the first page, my name means "eternal ruler." But there's more to it than that. I'll just quote the omniscient Wikipedia to explain other meanings:

The first element, ei- is derived either from the older Proto-Norse *aina(z) meaning "one" or "alone" or from Proto-Norse *aiwa(z) meaning "ever" or "eternal". The second element -ríkr derives either from *rík(a)z meaning "ruler" or "prince" (cf. Gothic reiks) or from an even older Proto-Germanic *ríkiaz which meant "powerful" and "rich". The name is thus usually taken to mean "one ruler", "autocrat", "eternal ruler" or "ever powerful," and "government"."

So there we have the aforementioned "eternal ruler," as well as "one ruler," "ever powerful," "government." There's also "autocrat," though I'm not as fond of the connotations that meaning provides.

My first name is Amy which means beloved. Not a terribly deep meaning perhaps, but it's more interesting compared to my last name which has no significance whatsoever, and I would say it certainly fits me. :)
