Well ... I mean, should be kinda obvious, right? I wanted to make my normal username Christmas-y (or at least Winter-y), sooo yeah. Why this specifically? When I was trying to figure out what sort of name I should use, I at some point looked up 'snowberry' and found the Symphoricarpos (AKA snowberry) or whatever, so I took its AKA and added a y between snow and berry; Snowyberry! And of course, I had to keep the 'Sir', resulting in the name 'Sir Snowyberry'.

My friends call me that Sweet Old Bob.  Usually just the initials, but I know what they mean.  When I tried to sign up for Hate Mail, they told me the name was taken, so I just jammed some numbers on the end & it went through.

I wanted my name to be "Frosty" but it was taken, and I didn't want to be Frosty with a line of numbers after it. So, I had to think of another cutesy one-word name, which took me awhile. 

 

This name is actually from a misheard lyric in the song "Pigs" by pink floyd. 

I want to change it to "PinkProlific" but now that I've been here as long as I have I can't decide if I should. But I will, it's just a matter of time. I think.

So, the current username, which is probably my third or fourth one, is just based off the original concept of my username on other sites, only I replaced the character name from something SpongeBob related to my favorite pony. It was't initially too special, it was just, years ago I was a much bigger SB fan than I am now and back then I always was watching it.

 

One thing that confuses me is that, despite the great freedom of changing your name here, you can never really find anyone when they constantly change it. They should really have some kind of feature where you can get a notification when a friend changes his/her username.

Because that is the name of my Pony OC/Ponysona/Avatar. And it's also the name for my Music channel on YouTube. "Jonny" is the nickname of my first name Jonathan. And Music, obviously, because I love music in general (it's a passion of mine).

I'll do my entire name history.

 

I originally chose TheTechBrony because I'd used it other places before, and I'm tech savvy.

 

I then changed it to Logged Out because I left MLP Forums for a while to focus on other things, like a death in my extended family (got $1 from the inheritance).

 

I changed back to TheTechBrony because I arrived back here again.

 

I then changed over to L33t ><-p3r7 because of someone I met, and I encouraged myself to do so, due to a short spurt of 1337 use.

 

I finally chose TheAnonBrony because of certain . . . memberships I have.

It is a different way to say my name. Searched up one day about my name and figured out there were different ways to say it, and I choose the one that I liked.
