Did you cry during the finale?

I didn't cry but I was a bit upset. I felt the same way when Ed, Edd, n' Eddy ended. That was a good show too. But there's just something about MLP that made it more than just a show. The writers really seemed to care about the show when they made it and it wasn't just any other kids show. It was way too advanced for a kid to understand. It had kid stuff in it but there was stuff for the adults too and I appreciated that.

I was feeling a little "empty" in how the show ended in any truth.  I mean MLP is one of the few fandoms outside of anime/manga or books that I really got into for YEARS.  I felt they just well, ruined Discord in the end sadly.  It would have been nice to use Gregor if anything as the main bad guy!   It just felt a little flat and even more with the Mane Student six just kept you with more questions than answers.

Yeah... watching it reminded me of the first episode that I watched with Nightmare Moon... when Twilight was having trouble becoming friends with the Mane 6... all their friendship lessons and adventures... ah the memories:(

Tell me this isn't the cutest thing you've seen all day?

Yep. :worry: Apart from reminding me of the ending of Harry Potter where they’re all wearing bad makeup to make them older, the song makes me cry every single time I hear it, no joke. :( Even typing about it wells me up a bit.

I also still have to keep telling myself, ‘Pinkie is not married... Pinkie is not married!’ :okiedokieloki:

I will admit, I did tear up during the song at the end. Along with that, seeing the book from the premier close at the end gave me the feels. Although, I didn't get as emotional as I could've because there were a bunch of little details with the finale I disliked (AppleDash, the current state of Equestria, only one of the main six having a child, etc.). In fact, the finale sorta left me disappointed. That being said, it could've been much worse, so at least there's that.

Absolutely :( So many parts of the song sequence just made it worse, seeing Big Mac with his family and Fluttershy's solo are the stuff that really get me </3

I very rarely cry when I watch anything. The Perfect Pear didn't make me cry initially, but I did have tears in my eyes the second time I watched it when I was concentrating more on the sad aspects of the episode. As for The Last Problem, no I didn't cry, but the very end of the episode when we see the older mane six plus Spike and then the book closes I get hit by what would best be described as a wave of emotions - sadness, longing, nostalgia, and a kind of happiness too at the lovely way things turned out.

Why don't you like Pinkie being married? I thought it was a wonderful touch - and I can't even stand Cheese Sandwich.
