After taking a bath, Shadow and Keen went out into the streets. They decided to leave their gift baskets in their apartment.

“So, how did you get here Shadow?” Keen asked as they casually walked through town.

“I got here by accident” Shadow said “I was on a mission to expose the lack of foal safety in a town when i got lost. I stumble upon a trail and I was hungry. So I assumed the trail would lead me to my destination. That's how I got here” she explained.

“I feel bad for you” Keen sympathized.

“You don't need to. Many other ponies have said that to me in the past” Shadow told her before changing the subject “So, how will we thank Sam once we got to his house?”

“In a simple tradional way” Keen answered “just simply thanked him for his generosity”

“Nah, I don't like that kind of thank you” Shadow said “I want to thank him back. Maybe lets buy some ice cream as a gift and to express our thanks” Keen smiled.

“I know a place where you can buy ice cream”

...

Shadow and Keen went out of the ice cream parlor. Keen had been talking with a staff of parlor for few minutes while Shadow decided to bought her favorate flavor: cookies and cream. The box containing the ice cream was in the shopping bag which hang on one of her wings.

“I'm glad the ice creams they sell are low cost” Shadow said.

“That's because one of them is a friend of mine!” Keen told her with satisfaction. Shadow gave her a raised eyebrow.

“Huh?”

“Well, i basically first stumble upon the ice cream parlor when I got here. My new friend you saw gave me food and water and let me sleep on one of the tables” Keen explained “It's kinda a little embarrassing but there were no costumers at that time”

“Awful nice of him”

“He is” Keen smirked.

“Oh!” Shadow stopped, promptling Keen to gave her a look of puzzlement.

“What's wrong, Shadow?” she asked.

“I forgot to visit the colt from the hospital” Shadow scratched her mane with a sheepish look, and with a sweat drop you have to go Samurai's place all by herself, Oh, and take the ice cream with you okay?”

“Sure, no problem” Keen said. Because she has no wing, she had to grab the shopping bag using her mouth which made talking difficult.

“I got to go now. See you later, Keen!” Shadow said before she turn tail and galloped to the opposite direction. Keen stared for a few seconds before shrugging and continue on her way to Samurai's residence.

Shadow's P.O.V

Not long, Shadow eventually reached the hospital. She had to fly in order to easily navigate and not get lost. She run up to the receptionist and asked them “Hello, ma'am, I am here to visit the colt who was recently got admitted here. Can I visit him?”

"...Shadow?" Just as Shadow Trail asked that question to the front desk worker, a voice comes over. It's Samurai Equine! He's been waiting in the lobby this whole time.

"You're here rather early for a visit. If you're asking for either Bluebell or the mystery colt, I've been informed it might be a minute. The colt is awake, but still getting settled and use to this place. The doctors also want to make sure they are both physically capable of being independent before letting either of them go." Samurai explains.

Samurai smiles. "Well, that puts me at ease. I just wanted to be the first one the colt sees, that and I really wanted to talk to him as soon as he is ready to leave." Samurai nods. "As for Keen... If my friends aren't still at my place, I am sure the kurokos will be there to greet and help her." Samurai explains.

A nurse walks up. "Excuse me, you two. You don't have to wait around here anymore. Now that we have a full staff, we have a much easier way of contacting anyone that is waiting to see a patient." The nurse gives each of them a plastic ring with lights and stuff inside them. "These magic call rings will light up and buzz as soon as the patients you want to see are ready for you. They cover a wide range of distance, so you can go practically anywhere in Friendshire and do other things while you wait. Mr. Samurai, yours is set for both Bluebell and the mystery colt. Shadow, yours is set for just the mystery colt. We know waiting around here isn't fun for a lot of healthy visitors." The nurse explains.

Samurai puts his ring on his horn for now. "Ah. How convenient!" Samurai says with a smile. "What do you say, Shadow? While we are waiting on our patients, I can teleport us to my place and rendezvous with Keen. And if there is still time, would you mind if the three of us go visit Fable? I ran off before properly saying goodbye to her."

Now that Boulder was a bit more clear headed, he spoke with the doctor without making a break for it again. there was still a guard pony outside the door in case he tried something however, considering the fact he had sent a few grown stallions flying earlier in the morning during his escape attempt. They weren't questioning him on his preternatural strength so it didn't seem THAT uncommon, though it was rare enough that no one else he ran into in the hospital had it.

He chose his words carefully as he spoke to the doctor. From the way they were treating him, Boulder's body seemed to be younger than the one he had in his own reality. While back home he was a high school student this was clearly something more akin to a grade schooler, perhaps younger. He couldn't really tell since a lot of these ponies looked the same to him with only different colored coats and manes distinguishing them. The Stallions seemed to be stockier with broader jawlines and sounded more masculine, so he could differentiate little things like that, but remembering faces was going to be a challenge.

Boulder tentatively explained that he did not remember what happened before. The only thing he remembers was his time with the Diamond dogs and escaping from them, as well as his own name. This wasn't a lie in the technical sense, given that this did account for the entirety of his memories of being in this Equestria. He explained what the Diamond dogs were, what slave labor he performed for them, and how he escaped from their clutches. From the shocked and empathetic looks he was getting towards his amnesia as well as his treatment under those canines claws, the story seemed to be carrying water at least.

He'd need to be wary of potential mind readers though. It's rather clear to Boulder at this point that these ponies had some kind of powers, like the ability to levitate him off the ground or his own ability to burrow through the earth extremely fast. Somepony with the ability to glean into his mind somehow would be able to find out that he wasn't actually a pony, at least on the inside, and that could cause problems. They seemed nice enough, but he was waiting for that other shoe to drop.

Shadow bowed her head at the nurse to show respect “I'm grateful for your assistance ma'am” she said. She looked at the ring for a few seconds before Samurai with her spoke up.

“Well, this trail isn’t on my map.” Silver looked at the path before him after consulting the map. He turned the map at various angles in some vain attempt to try and make sense of what he was seeing. Silver levitated his compass and scrunched his face in confusion. “I thought this was supposed to be taking me north, back home. Now I’m going south.” The Kirin put his compass and map away, joining his other possessions he brought along in the cart he pulled behind him. “Oh well, guess it’s time for another adventure! That is what I’m here for, after all.”

Silver continued down the road for a few more miles, finding a town at the end. He glanced at his map again, and upon seeing nothing marked in the area, shook his head as he pushed forward. Once Silver reached the town, he quickly scanned his surroundings. There were two things that made this town stand out from a lot of the others he had visited in his travels around Equestria. The first thing he noticed was how empty the place was. Maybe there’s a reason this place isn’t on my map. Silver thought to himself. He noted the name of the town on a sign nearby, Friendshire, brought out a rather large journal, and wrote the town name at the top of a new page.

The other thing he noticed was some sort of gatekeeper to his right. He looked like somepony who didn’t belong in the position they were in. This seemed strange to Silver, why in Equestria does this town need a gatekeeper? He gave a quick wave to the gatekeeper and moved along on his way. Silver didn’t want to be rude, but he figured the less he said to anypony here, the better. Or, at least until he found out more about the place. Something just didn’t seem right with him, but Silver wasn’t sure of what. Right now, his priorities were to find somewhere to restock his supplies, and then see if he could meet any locals to find out more about this town. Based on the greeter pony, Silver knew there had to be others.

@Windy Breeze 🥧

He wandered around the town and noticed many shops and buildings. Rather disproportionate to the number of ponies who live here, how strange. He thought. What Silver really needed, and what he couldn’t find, was a store that sold food. After a few more minutes of searching, he found a rather ornate looking house with three mares standing outside talking. Hopefully one of them could direct him to the nearest market, and maybe give him some information about the town.

“Excuse me, hi there!” Silver said with a small smile, walking towards them with his cart in tow. “Hey, I’m Silver Slate, I’ve been traveling all around Equestria on an adventure to discover the many different cultures and races across the country! See, we Kirin don’t really have much information about the outside world. Our village is fairly isolated from the rest of the world, and nopony was interested in venturing far from the safety that it offered, until we were shown the value of the magic of friendship. Since then, we’ve been slowly exploring the rest of the world, and I am one of those Kirin who chose to leave the village to gather knowledge for the rest of my friends and family back home.”

Silver levitated his journal from his belongings in his cart.

“If one of you wouldn’t mind, perhaps you could share some info with me about Friendshire? Particularly since it doesn’t appear on my map. If you don’t want to, that’s fine as well. All I ask then is if you could point me in the right direction of a market where I may buy some food, and I’ll be out of your manes. It would seem I’m a bit lost at the moment.” He said with a bit of chuckle.

Keen beamed at the Kirin who had introduced himself to them as Silver Slate.

“Hello, I'm Keen Fan” she said “and these two are-”

“Sundae Delight and my Servant, Server” Sundae caught her off, rudely (Though she didn't seem to notice) “A pleasure to meet you, Silver Slate” the rich unicorn and her servant bowed their heads. She look up at him “Living in a isolated village? Sure, it have been recently when Friendshire got a bloom in visitors today”

“You see, Friendshire is a town... or a city perhaps. I live here for several years though I'm not a local here. This town has two mayors but I have little knowledge of them. Maybe you should the owner of that beautiful oriental house, Samurai Equine” she said.

Thundy looked at Dynamo whose mane was apparently standing due to his sparks. He chuckled quietly to himself. "Those all sound good but, us griffons do eat meat...so...eehehe...any chance you could fix us some sausage?" Thundy asked scratching the back of his head.

Suddenly, a sound like flowing water was heard and a puddle sort of made it's way into the hallway. The puddle slowly materialized...and there was Chelsea, still looking half asleep. "Hey sleepyhead." Thundy said stroking Chelsea's mane lovingly. Chelsea purred and slowly rubbed herself on Thundy as her physical way of saying good morning.

As more ponies (and griffons) appeared in the room, the sleepiness Pencil felt began to dissipate. The light chatter woke her up enough to form coherent sentences, which she was grateful for.

“Morning, guys! How’d you guys sleep? I’m still a little tired cause I had to get up early to work, but I’m more awake now that you guys are here,” she told the small gathering.

Upon seeing the griffons use their special abilities once again, Pencil couldn’t help but be in awe at the display of such raw talent. She personally thought it would be cool to make a dramatic entrance the way the griffons did.

“I don’t suppose there’s a unicorn translation for the teleportation spells you guys use?” she asked Chelsea and Thundy.

@ExplosionMare @C. Thunder Dash @Pastel Heart @Astral Vision @Samurai Equine

"Good morning to you, as well, Pencil. Like I told Astral, I got a pretty good night's sleep. I hope you'll be okay due to having to get up early for work. I can't say I relate, but I have a tendency to get up really early. I'd say it's a curse of being a morning pony." He closed his eyes, while having a somewhat deadpanned expression. He opened his eyes once more as his expression turned to that of curiosity. "What were you working on? If you don't mind me asking, that is. Were you able to get some inspiration from the racing event yesterday?" He asks, suddenly hearing a sound of flowing water. As he turned towards the source of the noise, he was greeted with a puddle that made it into the hallway. The gamer pony's jaw dropped as the puddle suddenly materialized into Chelsea. After picking his jaw up from the floor, Dynamo chuckled quietly as the female griffon looked to have been nuzzling Thundy. "I'm with Pencil on this one. How do you both do that? Do you have specific elemental affinities? I only ask because I've recently learned about my magic. It's a sort of new type of magic, while incorporated what I believe to be elemental magic."

"Hehe, I haven't had a breakfast this big in a long time! Usually it's just me and grandpa, well, if he's awake which he's not this time... Still! I think Sami will be okay though, he's tough! He kinda almost skewered grandpa so I think he'll be okay even if he got attacked by a dragon or got kidnapped by pirates!"

What a crazy imagination.

@ExplosionMare @C. Thunder Dash @Astral Vision

Pastel waved to her friends, both old and new.

"Hello, everycreature~! Come get in on this breakfast party! Dyny said Sami will meet us later or something? I should wake grandpa up before then, nyahaha."

"I'm with you on that one, Pastel-chan. This is truly a huge smorgesbord of breakfast. The last time I had a giant breakfast like this was when my dad made pancakes. I'm not sure how, but I ate about ten or so before I stopped. If I didn't, then I think I would have probably gotten sick." He chuckled, smiling sheepishly at the memory. "You can say that again. Samurai should be okay. Hopefully, he'll be back soon. We wouldn't want him to miss this breakfast feast. Not sure on how he almost skewered your grandpa or the whole pirates thing. Although, I guess I can take your word on that." He responds with a nod.

The kurokos are doing a pretty good job of tending to everyone that stayed at Samurai's place.

However, when Thundy asked for meat, they panic. They make no noise, which is part of their custom. Silent as ninja, and always cloaked. But their body language expresses panic as they look amongst each other and quake in fear. Eventually, one shakes their head no and waves their hoof back and fourth before pulling out a miniature dry-erase board and writing a message on it. The message says:

Sorry, but that would be very troublesome for us. Ponies don't usually eat meat. If you wish to eat sausage, you'll have to go somewhere else for that.
The only thing we can provide is fake, imitation products.

As he had heard Thundy asking for meat, Dynamo looked over to the Kuroko's, who seem to be panicking. They didn't make any type of scream, but their body language said otherwise. They appeared to be shaking in fear and shook their heads. He was both concerned and confused as he was wondering what was wrong. However, due to their silent expressions, he didn't know what the situation was. Upon seeing one of the Kuroko's write a message on a miniature dry-erase board, the blue unicorn took a moment to read what was written. After reading the message, the gamer pony soon nodded in understanding. "I can believe that. I think I remember hearing from someone that ponies actually can ingest meat, but I think that was a theory. So, I'm not entirely sure if that's true and/or accurate or not. It may not be like the real thing, but a fake, imitation product is probably better than nothing, right?" He would ask, trying to give his two cents on the situation.

“Actually, I got inspiration from this house! I’ve never seen a house like this before and it’s just so pretty! I can show you a few drawings if you want. They’re just sketches right now,” Pencil told Dynamo, pulling out her sketchbook.

She showed him the intricate room design she mapped out. The room was one of the ones everyone was sleeping in, complete with the Japonies decor and the vast array of sleeping bags. She also had a few sketches of random objects for practice, which she quickly flipped through. Wanting to show more but not having much else to show, she clamped the book shut. Pencil drifted off for a moment and let out a quiet sigh. As beautiful and unique as the house was, it probably wouldn’t be enough to impress the commissioner. Pencil would have to keep exploring.

“I’m still not sure if this is what my commissioner is looking for, but at least this way I can document everything I’ve done here, Pencil said with a solemn smile. Maybe some day I will find what he asked for. Hopefully he’ll still be interested by then,” she added.

Pencil was growing more and more conflicted over the commission. She knew she couldn’t quit, especially with the amount of money she was offered, but she was finding it more and more difficult to understand what the commissioner wanted. At the same time, the day she did find something, she may have to leave. Pencil wasn’t ready to leave such a great town like

The doctors take their time. They make sure Boulder has plenty of food and water, and is feeling well. If he can muster up the kind of strength he had earlier, he definitely doesn't need machines or anything to help keep him healthy.

They seemed to be glad to finally have a name that they could address him by. Still, as they gave follow up questions, the doctor does mention one specific thing. "Oh, and you do have a visitor or two waiting to see you. They've been concerned about you since you came into town. But you don't have to see anypony until you're good and ready, or not at all if you wish."

@Windy Breeze 🥧, @GeneralDirection, @Kronos the Revenant, @CameoShadowness

"Well in that case, shall we travel the fastest way possible?" Samurai offers his hoof, and as soon as she takes it, they teleport away!

They reappear in front of his house, where they see a few familiar faces, and a few not so familiar faces. "Ah! Ohayo Keen-chan, Sundae-chan, and..." Samurai sees the new visitor. It's a kirin! Samurai's eyes go wide and he has the biggest smile on his face! He walks in a little closer. "A kirin! Are you new to this town?! I've always wanted to meet a kirin! I've heard so much about them~!!"

Meanwhile, Trilby has stopped making breakfast, gotten dressed, and is searching the streets. "Beryl?! ... Beryl!! ... Mini Horse, where are you?!" His wondering leads him to the front of Samurai's house. "Oh, good morning Samurai, Shadow, Keen, and... Others I don't know just yet. Sorry to intrude, but has anyone seen Beryl? She was at my house a moment ago, and now she's gone. Could she have come back this way?" Trilby asks. Samurai looks at Trilby and shakes his head side to side. "Sorry, but I haven't seen her since you left with her last night."

Having traveled this far, Kronos should be able to hear Trilby calling out for Beryl much more easily.

Kronos woke up from his self-induced musical trance when he heard someone calling out a name. He slowly stood up to keep his passenger safe and kicked his zither skillfully onto his back. He also heard the breezy on his shoulder mutter to herself, sounding very groggy and tired.

He proceeded to go towards the noises of seemingly desperate cries for help. His sonar locator pin-pointed the origin point near Samurai’s house, so he decided to stop over there.

When he arrived, Kronos greeted Samurai, “‘Sup, Samurai. I heard someone yelling from here. They looking for this little guy?” He gestured over to the breezy on his shoulder, “She kinda just landed on my shoulder as I was playing my zither.”

“Sundae Delight, Dear. I own an ice cream parlor in town” Sundae told Trilby. Shadow smiled at the sight of Trilby.

“Good Morning, Trilby” she said. She look around to see three new faces, including a kirin “W-Wha-What?” she gasped in disbelief. She can't believe it! There was a kirin in town! Her heartbeat went fast. She approached the kirin, quickly identifying him as stallion “Oh my Luna, I can't believe with my own eyes. I got to finally meet a kirin after several years of searching for them!” she unconsciously hugged the Kirin. Keen chuckled while Sundae simply lifted an eyebrow; her servant, Server stifled a laugh.

They then heard another voice. Everyone turn around to see Kronos, much to surprise of Sundae and her servant. “When did Princess Celestia decided to tell her scientists to create a robot?” Sundae muttered to herself.

"Visitors?" Boulder cocked his head to the side quizzically at that. He supposed it made sense that there were ponies concerned about his well being. He was a kid after all at least by all outward appearances. "Sure I don't see why I wouldn't want to have visitors. Did they perhaps say they know who I am?" That last part was to help guide along the idea of him having amnesia. Though the doctors and other medical staff seemed to have bought it for now didn't mean that he shouldn't stop laying the groundwork for that particular deception. It was the most plausible form of deniability that would allow him to not know any number of local customs or current events after all. It wouldn't be strange if an amnesiac didn't know something that should be common knowledge after all.

"Then I guess we'll have to eat what's here." Thundy said as he continued to rub and stroke Chelsea affectionately.

Thundy then turned to the mare who had asked them about their abilities. "We each got our abilities in different situations. For me, I...actually wasn't always a griffon. You see, I was what is called a human. Humans lack fur but they have different hues of what is called skin. One day, when I was on my way home with some friends, a storm brewed and unfortunately, I was struck by lightning. However, the lightning strike didn't hurt. Instead, it hit a part of my body that enabled the electricity to travel all the way to my DNA, or the genetic makeup that defines who I am. Because of the rapid mutation, I transformed into what you see now. For Chelsea, it's a completely different story. It will take her a while for her to be ready to say it." Thundy explained. Chelsea nodded with a quiet sniffle.

“Ooh, so it’s like you gained superpowers! Cool!” Pencil cheered. The thought of lightning coursing through Thundy’s vains sent a shiver down Pencil’s spine. It sounded painful, but incredibly awesome. Pencil rested a hoof on her chin, already thinking of ways to draw the scenario.

Snapping herself out of her thoughts, she glanced at Chelsea, who was still sobbing. Pencil gave her a sympathetic look then an understanding nod. If she wasn’t ready to tell her story, then she didn’t have to tell it yet. She just hoped the griffon would be in better spirits soon. Whatever had her worked up has been making her upset for quite a while. Pencil hated seeing Chelsea so upset for so long.

upon listening to Dynamo, the kurokos and the griffons discuss meat, she put a hoof to her chin and, with a straight face, said out loud...

"Hmm... I wonder how other ponies taste... Maybe it's like chicken!"

@C. Thunder Dash

Pastel couldn't help but think this kinda thing was straight out of some anime. Or a book. At least that's how she was processing the information. A lot of words there she didn't understand.

"Sooo, you're like, a superhero or something! Or Frankenpony! In this case Frankengriffon? Maybe there's like some kinda potion that can restore your form, or true loves first kiss! Or you gotta slay a demon! Or, uh... Something?"

She put on a big smile and stuffed her face some more. She didn't know how exactly how to approach the two with Chelsea still all shaky, she thought maybe she could do something to cheer her up, like a song or something...

"I know what you mean. My old home was in Fillydelphia, but I've never seen a house like this before. I remember Sam had mentioned that this home is somewhat reminiscent of the homes that Mistmane's village looks like. It makes me wonder what the village actually looks like. I think it would be pretty awesome to visit that village one day." Dynamo responded to Pencil, nodding at the mention of seeing the drawings. "Sure. I'd love to see the drawings. Whether it's completed or it's just sketches. I think it'd be really neat to see what you've drawn so far."

As he was shown the room design of Samurai's home, Dynamo's eyes widened at what was drawn. Everything looked so detailed, while it looked like he was staring into the room. Even while he was still eating in the party room. "That's incredible." He whistled, feeling amazed at the drawing. "Even though it's just a sketch, it looks really well done. You really have an eye for art in general. Whether or not that's what your commissioner is asking for. I still think that's a great idea. Each drawing your document will maybe get you one step closer to your ideal drawing. I have no doubt that he'll be interested in any kind of drawing you'll make." He would say with an honest smile. "I was just wondering something. You wouldn't happen to have a spare page and/or a spare pencil, right? I was hoping to try and make the drawing that I was mentioning before. I'd like to show you and the others if it's possible. That, and we can show Samurai the drawings when he comes back."

The gamer pony soon turned his attention to Thundy, who began to explain how he got his powers in the first place. He raised an eyebrow in confusion at the mention of being this other creature that was known as a human. "I'm not entirely sure what a human is, but that's still rather interesting. In a way, it seems dangerous to be hit by lightning, but I'm glad that you're okay." His eyes widening at the mention of Thundy being thunder struck, but gaining the power to mutate was rather fascinating. "Are you able to control electricity at will, or are there certain limitations? Since you transformed into a griffon, are there other forms you can take on?" He wondered, before hearing a sniffle from Chelsea. It still seemed that she was feeling sad from before. He wished he could help a friend out, but he still had to respect her decision in not opening up her feelings.

upon listening to Dynamo, the kurokos and the griffons discuss meat, she put a hoof to her chin and, with a straight face, said out loud...

"Hmm... I wonder how other ponies taste... Maybe it's like chicken!"

Dynamo turned his attention over to Pastel, who had a straight face when giving her response. Dynamo's jaw dropped slightly as he didn't expect to hear that from her. "Uh...I don't know how to really answer that question. It's more along the lines of I don't really think that's a question worth answering. Would anyone care to help out? Would a let's not and say we did would work in this situation, right?" He gave a sheepish smile, before sighing, closing his eyes and tilting his head slightly.

@Windy Breeze 🥧 @Samurai Equine @Kronos the Revenant

“Hey Keen, Sundae, and Server, nice to meet you all!” He greeted each of them with a smile. Silver listened to Sundae’s short explanation and made a few quick notes in his journal before replying. “Cool, thanks for the info! Yes, my village, Kirin Grove, is located within the Peaks of Peril, and there really aren’t any other ponies out there. Aside from our village, it is a rather wild and inhospitable place. Anyway, I will definitely want to talk with Samurai Equine when I see him.”

Silver then turned his attention to Keen Fan. “How about you, Keen, are you from around here? Anything you can tell me about Friendshire?”

Silver thought it was a bit strange that this town had two mayors, and neither of them seemed to be interested in drawing too much attention to themselves. The mayors he had met in other cities wanted pretty much everyone to know who they were. This thought process would be interrupted when a Unicorn and Pegasus suddenly appeared in front of him. Silver blinked a couple times and was about to address them, but the Unicorn stepped forward and spoke first.

4 hours ago, Samurai Equine said:

Samurai's eyes go wide and he has the biggest smile on his face! He walks in a little closer. "A kirin! Are you new to this town?! I've always wanted to meet a kirin! I've heard so much about them~!!"

Silver smiled at the Unicorn’s reaction. He was relieved that, so far, all his interactions with other ponies here had been positive. Some ponies were curious about Kirin, but some were afraid of them. Silver could understand why, it wasn’t every day you saw somepony like him walking down the street, after all. It made being a newcomer in a foreign land just that much more difficult, though.

“Yes, I just arrived here about an hour ago! Umm, Samurai Equine, is it? I was just explaining to Keen and Sundae here that I’ve been on an adventure across Equestria to discover the different cultures and races and report my findings back to my friends and family back home. You might be aware that our village is rather isolated from the rest of the world, and it’s been that way for a long time. But there are some Kirin, such as myself, who are trying to change that, and learn more about the ponies around us. Admittedly this town was not on my itinerary, I am a bit lost, but Sundae suggested I talk to you to get more information about the town, and that is the primary purpose of my travels. I’m sure you’re busy right now, and I’m in no hurry, so perhaps this is a conversation we could have later?” He asked hopefully. “I could try to answer any questions you might have for me, as well.”

His guess about Samurai’s name would be confirmed when another pony wearing a hat came by and addressed Samurai as such. Silver also learned the name of the Pegasus, Shadow. The sight of more ponies was encouraging for the Kirin, perhaps this place wouldn’t be a total wash after all. The unnamed Unicorn was apparently looking for somepony named Beryl and seeing as how Silver had no idea who this Beryl was, he felt it was best to leave this inquiry to the locals. Sure enough, the whereabouts of Beryl were soon learned when another creature whom Silver hadn’t seen on his travels joined the group that had formed in front of Samurai’s house. He overheard somepony call Beryl a breezie, which was another creature he hadn’t encountered thus far. So many new creatures to meet!

Silver was almost too caught up in all the action to notice Shadow noticing him. It was a good thing, too, because a few seconds later, the 10 o’clock Pegasus hug train had arrived at his doorstep. Silver laughed and returned the hug. “Woah! Yes, it’s true, I’m a Kirin, and I can even talk, too!” Silver realized immediately after he said this that nopony here would probably get that joke. He didn’t imagine that many ponies would’ve heard about how, at one point, nopony in the entire Kirin village would speak to one another.

“You all are too kind, really. I appreciate it a lot. This is so much better than running for your life while villagers throw stones at you! Sounds to me like you might have more questions for me than I have for you, ah, Shadow, right? Regardless, I’d love to have a chat with you all at some point, the more perspectives I can get for my village, the better!”

"You can say superpowers. And really, the only thing I can't do is overexert myself. If I do, then I'd need a jumpstart to get my energy back." Thundy explained as he gathered some electricity and made a ball of energy appear. He held it out for Dyno. "Go on, give it a feel. It's pure energy. It feels warm." Thundy said.

Chelsea looked at Dyno, sniffling once more, then letting out a deep sigh. Her cutie mark, which was a blue ying/yang sign surrounded by two tidal waves was in Dyno's and everypony else's view.

“Oh no, it's only 2 days since I got here, Silver” Keen said as Shadow broke the hug.

“Unfortunately, Server here isn't very much of a talker” Sundae spoke up “she doesn't speak too often except if its important” she lifted her hoof and brushed her curly mane with her hoof “But you may speak to me if you want to. Oh, and if you need a place to stay, you can stay at my house and eat whatever you want to eat”

@Samurai Equine

While Sundae is speaking to the Kirin, Shadow approached Keen, pick up the green shopping bag which contains the cookies and cream ice cream and gave it to Samurai “This is for you” she said before going to approaching Trilby “How are you?”

“Ah, right on, so what brings you to Friendshire, are you a lone wanderer like me, perhaps?” Silver smiled at Keen. “Or, maybe you just got lost on your way to somewhere else, which is also me right now!” He chuckled.

“Yea alright, no problem, perfectly understandable.” He said in reply to Sundae. “So, did I hear that you run an ice cream shop in town, yea? You always done that? How’s business? Town seems a bit quiet, or at least from what I’ve seen so far.”

Silver wondered how long he’d end up staying in Friendshire. Really, he only came into town to buy some food. But since he found ponies that might potentially want to talk to him, perhaps he might be staying for a little bit longer. Silver was fine with whatever the outcome might be, after all, he was here to explore the world and make new friends, and so far, the ponies in this town were proving to be rather friendly.

“I got lost” Keen looked away at him in shame and start her explanation “I was going to Las Pegasus to check out some of their awesome arcade games, but sadly, I picked the wrong path and i almost starved to death before I reach this town”

Sundae waited for Keen to complete her explanation before talking to Silver “Yes, I do own a ice cream parlor. I got several staff but many ponies went to me because of a rumor about my family's... wealth” she hesitated there “all those who could become a part of my business became my servants, just like Server” she mentioned the earth pony standing beside her “And I had to tell you, they're good at cooking than me. The business is going great, unfortunately, not much ponies went to my shop today except for Keen and Shadow”

Trilby does his best to properly greet everyone and wave happily at Shadow. "Ah! Thank goodness to you, kind sir!" Trilby relieves Beryl from Kronos' shoulder, gently holding her in his hoof. "Oh mini horse, you had me so worried... Which reminds me... No time to talk! I've got so much to do! Mr... Uh... What was the name again? Kronk? Chronology? Kosmo?" Trilby struggles; he hasn't known him long enough to learn his name properly. Samurai leans over and whispers the correct name. "Kronos." Samurai tells him. "Ah! Yes! Mr. Kronos. I am in your debt. If you ever need a hat or a piece of clothing, come by my shop. Your first purchase is on the house." Trilby explains to Kronos.

Without a second to waste, he kicks opens Samurai's door and yells inside, holding Beryl away so she won't be disturbed. "ASTRAL VISION!! You in here?! Meet me in the library, stat! No time to explain, it's an EMERGENCY!!!" Trilby walks away from the door. "Forgive me, Beryl. I know you don't like this, but this is the fastest way to the library. Even if that doesn't make you feel better, I can at least find that book about Breezies and find out how to help you properly." Trilby explains before teleporting away.

Trilby arrives in front of the library. They are open today. He carefully goes inside, finds a desk he can put Beryl on safely, then searches the book shelves. "I think it was in the Foreign Studies section..."

@Windy Breeze 🥧, @GeneralDirection

Samurai was listening to the conversations being had, but Silver reminded him of something. "Oh! Right. Of course. I am in a little bit of a hurry... Sorry for the sudden rush, Silver. But if you need anything, you'll find that navigating the town is quite easy. I've never heard of anypony getting lost here. And just in case, try going to the town square. There should be some general directions posted. I even have some friends inside my house here that might be willing to help you out."

Samurai leans in closer to Silver to whisper to him. "Oh, and I don't know if this is true or not... I've only heard about this in literature, but... If it's true that Kirins have fire powers, don't let that scare you from being here. Because I'm a fire elemental too, and you'll fit in just fine here." Samurai says with a knowing wink.

He steps back and looks at Keen, Shadow, and Sundae. "All right, everypony. Sorry to be in a hurry like this, but we're about to go pick up Fable, and then we'll wait for the hospital to tell us about Bluebell and the mystery colt. So, anypony that's coming along, take my hoof and I'll get us there." Samurai offers his hoof to them.

@Buck Testa

The doctor shakes his head. "Oh no. Nopony knew who you were until you woke up and told us your name just a moment ago. We've been calling  you John Buck this whole time." The doctor explains. Must be this world's version of the placeholder name John Doe/Jane Doe. "I'm going to finish some paper work and then let the visitors know you're available. Remember, if you need anything at all, the nurses will be glad to help. You should be discharged before the day is half over." The doctor says and leaves his room for now.
