My favorite male vocalist is Jack Jones, because he has perfect pitch, power, subtlety, interpretation and control.

My favorite female vocalist is harder to decide. But my top favorites are:

Janis Orenstein, for total perfection in every category,

Margaret Whiting, for her sweet sound,

Ethel Merman, for total power and showmanship,

Eydie Gorme, for a perfect blend of power, interpretation and style,

Julie Andrews, because she has a perfect voice and knows how to present a song better than anyone I know.

I don't think I have a favorite singer, to be honest. I listen/rock out to the music more than paying attention to what someone is singing about.

And I think brony music is better than mainstream music.

I do have favorite singers from older times, when mainstream music was better, like Mark Knopfler and Maggie Reilly.
