gaming What is the scariest video game enemy you faced?

The Master and the story behind him makes my skin crawl to this very day as he can be quite the formidable opponent. I truly wish Bethesda made something as elaborate, unique, and scary as him. Thanks to Kkat, I will forever associate The Master with Trixie from Fallout Equestria.

As a little kid who touched upon the first days of ever going to school, I was terrified of Molo from Vigilante 8. However, there isn't a decent picture of the driver I can find, his freaking creepy complexion matched only the strength of his overkill school bus. I believed that all school buses were evil and I hated riding them, but hey, I was five years old at the time.

I wonder why people never make a shoutout to "Call of the Cthulhu". It was kinda like the founder of horror games. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's always going to be invincible enemies.

It's weird though. The faster they are, the less scary they are. I mean they're still scary, but the point of fast invincible enemies is to avoid them completely via being clever in the level.

Slow invincible enemies are sometimes meant to be tiptoed around. Sometimes they will see you, and you just have to run around them. What makes them creepy is that they tend to stalk you, and you feel helpless. No amount of skill will defeat them - You are simply at their mercy unless you're highly agile.

If I can defeat it, I am unafraid of it.

The Double Baby Head from Silent Hill 4.  I was just walking along, wondering where all of the enemies were, and then I changed the camera angle to find this right in front of me:

I shrieked aloud, and ran in the opposite direction.

- Colonel Mael Radec from Killzone 2. He wasn't really scary per se. It was just really unnerving how he always tried to sneak up behind me with his knife. The worst part is that he walks faster than I can sprint.

- Speaking of Killzone 2, the Helghan spiders were also pretty unnerving, but not as unnerving as the knife-happy colonel.

There was a bugs bunny game I had as a kid. In one level daffy duck followed you everywhere and if he touched you you died. He used to freak the hell out of me, just because he followed me. Also SA-X from Metroid Fusion.

What game is the former? I'm kinda curious about it.

Oh my gosh I remember timesplitters futureperfect! One of the best games i'v ever played!

Flamethrowers, zombies, flare guns and Dual-wielding. Also as playable characters they had things like a dinosaur, death himself, a robot and a giant fish.

I could customize my very own map. (and that game had a VERY GOOD customization system)

I had it on the gamecube, heck i'd still be playing it today if my disk hadn't broke.  :(

I know the level you're talking about, that level had some SUPER creepy enemies.

I will never forget that game.

I'd have to say the Regenerator from Dead Space. It's completely invincible, it hunts you relentlessly and results in an extremely gruesome death scene if it catches you.

An honourable mention is the Grims from Resistance 2. They charge you in mass numbers, screaming and flailing their arms and there are several places on the game where you encounter them in almost pitch black darkness.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.

Friggin Five Nights At Freddy's.

The game, itself, isn't scary, but waiting for something to kill you as you sit, weaponless, is the worst thing ever.

Yes, I get scared easily, deal with it.

Yes! Another fan of Timesplitters I see, man I remember when I would play that everyday. Timeplitters Future Perfect was one of those games where you could play it any time and not get bored, it had so much stuff to do on it, I loved playing as a certain character in each Timesplitters. In TS 1 I would be Green Alien, in TS 2 I would be Dinosaur and in TS 3 (Future Perfect) I would play as GOLIATH SD/9. Just out of curiosity who did you play as Clumsi Poni?

I can't say there is a specific enemy, but anytime I play Fallout, I hate traveling when the game is set at night. I get really paranoid, and usually end up getting killed by something.
