Until recently, I've been using Chrome as my primary web browser.  However, out of fear that Chrome gathers information even in incognito, I've used IE (the horror!) to view pony stuff.  Recently, I decided to replace IE with Firefox for secretly browsing since I can't do anything on MLP Forums with IE (such as posting pictures and pasting).  Out of curiosity, I decided to get Firefox beta, which looks freaking awesome.  As a result, for the past few days, I've been using Firefox for regular browsing as well.  I might go back to Chrome for regular internet use, but right now, I'm using Firefox.

Chrome and Firefox, whichever I feel like at any given moment.

Since I remember I mostly used Opera. I preferred it over other browsers even at the time when it displayed an ad banner (pre-7.0 versions). I loved its tab browsing, mouse gestures, rich configurability options, user CSSs and userscripts, and built-in mail client. It was even more memory-efficient and fast than Firefox, especially when they introduced their new engine called Presto.

Unfortunately, recently they made possibly hugest mistake in their history: they decided to throw Presto out of the window and switch to WebKit, which in turn caused the whole user interface to be recreated from scratch, and now it is just another frame put on WebKit. It looks like a mere clone of Chrome ;/ All great features I beloved so much are gone. There's no mail client, no IRC client, no Torrent client, only a simple window with a bunch of menus hidden under one button (which I also hate, because it is one click more to get to the options I need). Why do they had to break something which worked so great? I cannot imagine ;/

So I'm left with pre-WebKit Opera v. 12 now, and I cannot upgrade to avoid losing all the features I need. But I don't know how long I will last. If something breaks down, I will be forced to switch, so my fallback option would probably be Firefox. I don't trust Google so I won't use Chrome even if they paid me for it. I don't trust Micro$oft too, and I know how bad is their browser even now.

P.S.: When you merge threads, could you make a redirection from the moved thread to the merged thread, instead of an uninformative and misleading error message that I don't have access privileges to write in the thread?

I've always used Chrome, can't remember the last time I ever touched IE/Firefox etc.

I think the only time I ever use IE, is when I need it to download Chrome. :P

I use both Safari and Firefox. Honestly, I think the difference between browsers are overblown. They all basically do the same thing, right?

Oh, and sort of relevant image is sort of relevant.

I use Chrome. I used Safari for years, but recently it started giving me some issues. Random crashes and whatnot, so I switched to Chrome. I'm very content with it.

Chrome. It seems to have some decent web developer tools on it.

I tried Safari because that is supposed to have better tools but that browser lags a tonne for me.

Anyone try Chromium yet? I'm too lazy to switch unless I know it's good. LOL.
