[6:34:52 PM] Joshua Henderson: In your profile pic... Is that a minecrafr pony!?

[6:34:58 PM] Finesthour: Mhhm

[6:35:19 PM] Joshua Henderson: Dude.. Mc is cool. Why ponies?

[6:35:24 PM] Finesthour: Not to shove my fandom down your throat, but you should give Ponies a try

[6:35:30 PM] Finesthour: I thought the same you did before

[6:35:40 PM] Finesthour: But I discovered that the show is actualy amazing

[6:35:41 PM] Joshua Henderson: No... There ponies.

[6:35:51 PM] Finesthour: Again, that is how I thought as well

[6:35:58 PM] Finesthour: It is not neccisarily the ponies I enjoy

[6:36:04 PM] Finesthour: It is the value of the show

[6:36:11 PM] Finesthour: If the show was about penguins per say,

[6:36:15 PM] Joshua Henderson: I prefer action. Not horses haha

[6:36:16 PM] Finesthour: then the fandom would be over penguins

[6:36:33 PM] Finesthour: It is the value of the show, not the characters that make it great

[6:36:40 PM] Finesthour: All I am saying is, give it a try before you judge

[6:36:45 PM] Finesthour: You might find you like it

[6:36:49 PM] Finesthour: You never know.

[6:37:03 PM] Finesthour: Agan, if you choose to not look it up, it is fine with me

[6:37:09 PM] Finesthour: I am just giving a heads up on why I like it.

He left me alone after that.

He is now looking at ponies.

you won super hard to the max. Nice way to handle yourself xD.

I got a pony hater once, had to really give him a firm talking for being so ignorant and naive. Normally I would rip people like this apart mentally for being such jerks, but in this case the guy was pretty young, so ripping him a new plot hole may have not been the most rightful thing to do. So I just replied to his replies as humble as possible.

The link to said convo is here http://geekscomeouta...176644#/d3ht8eb his name is sparkytheyoshi

I know I made some grammar mistakes like Their should have been They're; along with a mess of others, but hey that's what happens when you're replying to comments while playing a match of TF2 xD

Doesn't sound like a hater, just sounds like someone that hasn't heard of the show. Either way, it was a well handled situation.

Nope, he is a hater.

He just talks to me a lot, so he tries to make fun of me for it.

Oh, I didn't read the last part of the post carefully enough. I thought you said "I think he is looking at ponies" rather than "He is now looking at ponies". That's what I meant by "I hope you're right". My bad.

Oh trust me, it is all good :P

I know him personally, so I know what he is doing.

Confound you finest. Your persuasion drives me to write poems!

Most people view ponies as something unusual

A grown mans show of choise? It just seems so unsuitable

So they ask us, the Bronies, why a show for young kids?

To watch something so girly - their virility forbids

To express one affinity for such femininity..

Its no wonder we're met with such hostility!

But despite all of this, we calmly explain

How the show won our hearts, because it conveys

A wonderful story without insulting our brains

Like most TV series seem to do today.

They may look at us oddly, they may see us as strange

But we still love the show, and that fact won't change.

Sometimes they're willing to give it a chance

To see if one episode will alter their stance.

But we're never pushy, we let them decide

We just act as a helpful guide.

So with gentle persuasion and mild reserve.

We slowly convince them..

to join the herd.

What I understand: The non-brony's profile contains evidence that he watches these little ponys, but in real life he talks smach about it?

Maybe he does that to try to look "macho" or something like that to the other students.

That's just what I think at the moment, you know him better than I do.

BTW, great new profile pic =)
