My EliteBook has a 17" 1920x1200 (16:10, the productive aspect ratio - yay!) DreamColor screen that's worth more than many entire laptops. Best part about it is that it is a 30-bit screen, meaning that it is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colours - that's 64 times greater than 24-bit, which is what just about every other modern screen is built to. Viewing angle is 175°, which is darned impressive.

It's such a beautiful screen to look at. Once you get a day with it, you'll find other screens just look "meh" in comparison, even on some relatively high-end computers like the MacBook Pro's.

My computer is actually considered high end?

Wow, I now suddenly feel all special and stuff. :)

MacBook Pro's are generally perceived as high-end, anyway (but they do have a well-earned reputation for better-than-average screen quality).

In my opinion, they don't actually qualify for the title until you get near the $2,000 mark, but society has this pre-conceived notion that Macs are uber-computers that handle heavy-duty video work like nothing else on the planet.

2 Dell E228WFP both running at 1152x864 making my full desktop 2304x864.

Fine for me, might upgrade to something 1080p in the future.

EDIT: Well now my first monitor runs at 1680x1050 and the second at 1152x864.

my full desktop is 2832x1050.

I have a 23 inch Dell monitor. The resolution is 1920x1080.

I got it (the computer) for Christmas a few years ago, and it was quite a shock when the monitor was that big. lol

Two monitors of differing sizes, one of which I got on a fine Christmas day a few years ago. The other I obtained rather recently form my sister, when she bought herself a new one.

I have both of them displaying in 1440x900, giving me a grand total of 2880x900 for my desktop.

I recommend keeping any old monitors, they can come in handy. And I find that there's a quaint charm to be had from utilizing mismatched components.

1366x768 on a Compaq Presario and I guess that for the price of the laptop I really can't complain, not bad at all.

My desktop monitor is a Flatron E2350V. At 23", 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, it's a better screen than my TV. In fact, I've got my PS3 connected to it and if I'm by myself I prefer to watch movies on it.

32 inch Coby LCD TV.

Thinking about getting another one if they go on sale and using an old monitor purely for music.

An ASUS 21.5" IPS LCD display. Cheapest IPS around and its also the smallest 1920x1080 panel I could find. It looks good but I can't help but feel that its only a minor improvement over my old 19" Hanns G LCD. However, games now look far better (less jaggies) but it really shows the age of my 5770. Which is fine as I now have a 7850! Which is a massive upgrade, or at least it would be if it didn't need to be RMA'd :(.

Random side note: I'm noticing a lot of people are adding p after 1080. Does anyone actually have a PC display capable of accepting interlaced inputs (outside of TVs)? Not trying to be rude or anything, just genuinely curious because that would be quite useful for older computers such as a Commodore 64.

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

Fear my 1366x768 resolution laptop screen. I know it's really small and crappy. :/

I bet all of you guys use monitors.
