I guess a little. The other day my sister wanted to know what "ditzy" meant, so I just said "derpy" :P But that's just a small example.

It's also made me realise that even if people mock you for something, you should't feel bad because other people are into the same thing as you.

And most of all I get extremely excited every Saturday.

Without ponies, I'd be bored to death. Before My Little Pony, I was pretty cynical and even though lots of people enjoyed my company, it was because I was funny, a source of entertainment, not a true friend. Now, I know and understand who my real friends are, and I'm happier than ever, not to mention much more mature and a better person. I used to call my siblings names and deride them often, now you won't see me saying much that Fluttershy wouldn't.

Well

I learned a lot of stuff about just everything, since I was kinda isolated from world until that time.

I learned that having imaginary friends is not that uncommon and that people call them tulpae.

I learned how does it feel to be in love.

I learned how to cook muffins! ^.^

I got back to drawing.

I learned that people tend to give up very easily.. including me of course..

I learned that being different is no longer swag. (not that I ever wanted to be)

I looked at my evil side. (scared the living crap out of me ._.)

I realized I have to learn how to get over loosing people in life.

I learned that feeling pain is not always that bad..

I promise less.

I complain less.

I eliminated a lot of my prejudices.

I learned how to travel on my own. (to brony meetups! ^.^)

And the most important thing! I found some close friends!

MLP definitely changed my life! Before I became a brony, I thought all bronies were creepy weirdos but after watching a few episodes, I discovered the magic of friendship! I'm happy for the great community and I will love & tolerate all the haters! I'm a brony and I'm proud! /)  ;)

Being a brony has changed my life dramatically.

First off, I have more friends. I am just more friendly.

Two, I'm not depressed anymore. Mlp helped me with that.

Thirdly. I'm a better person. The show kinda changes you, ya know? I'm better then how I used to be.

:) Yes, being a brony has changed my life. I'm glad of it!

I can definitely say it's madd me less judgmental, now that I've become a little acquainted with my inner fanboy I find myself much less inclined to judge people for geeky stuff and geeking out in general. I've also become much more accepting of others I might have held closeted judgement for before now that I've been on the other end of that smoking gun and been on the side being mocked.

YES! I see things differently, like I used to get stressed easily, but a ton of stress is gone. c: And it's gotten me closer to some really great friends almost like...MAGIC! xD That was really bad...but it's given me a brighter view of life, and people :) Which is something no other show/movie/book/song has ever done. :)

Thanks to this show I have become a much much more opened minded person to many things. If you met me before I liked this show I was very closed minded about stuff. Becoming a fan of this show I also have thanks for finding this place and because of that I am very glad I joined this fandom as well.

Don't regret it one bit either ;)

Has the show changed your views on life/perspective/etc? I am interested in this because it seems to be a common trend with bronies (and our pegasisters). I think it's pretty cool how the show has affected me. I take notes from all the ponies. I am more generous. I am more honest. I have always been good at making my friends laugh. I try to be more kind. I am the most loyal employee at work. I try to think what would Twilight Sparkle do when I am faced with a tough decision. I am much more kind than I ever used to be. Mind you I am a felon. I have been arrested 4 times for drug and violent related crimes. I think the show has simplified what has been made overcomplicated by todays society. I do think that 99% of you are dorks. I am sorry. But honest truth is that i would rather be in the company of dorks who know what's up than cool people who only discuss things about life that they hate. It's so tiring hanging with cool people. All they do is talk about other people and things they hate. I abject being cool. I have all the opportunities to fit the mold. I am handsome, chicks dig me, I have a good job, people have always liked me... But I just don't care who knows I like the show. If they don't like it, they can go eat sand. If you ever feel like people beat you up over it.... Guess what? I am a tattoed iron worker who has ladies lined up left and right. I don't care how hot she is, if she isn't cool with me watching ponies. Then she can take a hike. I stick up for you dorks. I stick up for my kind because friendship really is magic. I don't know any of you on a personal basis but you are my friends. That is what the show has taught me. Stick up for what you believe in. You all are truly good people even if you are dorky, outcasts, awkward, oblivious, hot chicks, regular dudes who don't want to be judged. I am out there doin my thang, rocking a Dash sticker on my rear window. Someone asks me about it, I tell them. I don't care. They usually end up thinking it is kind of cool. An felon inked up iron worker who thinks ponies are cool. It gets them thinking, usually makes them a bit nicer. I hope you can help spread the positivity. Even if it's just a small amount.

Well I believe the biggest thing for me was a brighter view on life. Over my teen years and early adulthood I had grown increasingly pessimistic to the point I had a negative view on almost everything. It was affecting my studies and social life in a negative way, most of it stemmed from a mixture of college stress and the fact that life wasn't going as I had hoped it would. Jump back to 2012 to where the story starts, I am a huge fan of the Mass Effect franchise and after the ending debacle I got away from the series for awhile and started watching some of the cartoons I use to watch growing up. I was drawn to the Teen Titans franchise as it was one of my favorites and after watching all the episodes again I went online to see what type of fandom the show had. Lo and behold, that's when I found out about the show thanks to the Tara Strong connection and decided to watch my first episode. "Too many pinkie Pies" was the episode and at first I didn't really know what to think, I didn't watch another episode for a few days but after the second episode I started to get into the show. After completing the series I went back online to check out some of the fan art, at this time i didn't know a lot about Bronies just that they existed, and I was blown away by the sheer amount of fan created content. That's when I started to really get into the fandom, and I didn't really notice it but I was happier, and not as negative. The show didn't change me over night but I've come a long way over the last 8 months and am really thankful for that.
