At first I REALLY hated Trixie. She's an attention whore who would rather put an entire town in danger to show off her weak abilities.

 

But then she grew on me because Tom the Diamond likes her so much and I like to rustle his jimmies.

AJ- awesome farm pony

Rainbow- a rip off of sonic the hedgehog

Rarity- a beautiful pony

Flutershy- classic shy charicter

Pinkie though, I used to hate her, I would cringe when she would come on-screen, she was annoying, obnoxious, loud, and she sang stupid songs. And she was so one dimensional. She only laughed and broke the fourth wall. She was a character to giggle at, nothing more, she had no feelings. She was bland and boring.

 

Then the baby cakes episode came along. And I got to see a side of Pinkie where she was more than just a giggle character, she had hopes, dreams, and feelings. She didn't always smile, she had her bad times too.

 

And the Smile song, that made me start to enjoy her songs.

 

Now my two least favorite ponies are Fluttershy (She's just boring. Nothing really interesting about her. That's it.) And Rarity. Oh goodness Rarity. Ew. Show would be better without her.

 

But Fluttershy is awesome... D: My order of favorite ponies come in like this!

Rarity and Twi. The first episode I ever saw (Look Before You Sleep) was also the first time I fully saw Twi, Rarity, and AJ. I really like Applejack the first time I saw her, but I found Twi to be boring and Rarity to be a stuck-up bitch . Now, Twi is mah 2nd favorite pony because of her intellect, appearance, and that sexy sexy voice, and Rarity is 3rd for her classy accent, appearance also, and I find it funny when she wines .

I used to think Rainbow Dash was just a cliche tomboy and a jerk.

 

 

Boy, was I wrong. Now she's become 20% cooler (more than that) and I love her as one of my favorites! (Twilight/Pinkie, Rarity, Rainbow). All of the mane six ponies are really good, and they all are special to me. Even removing one of them would change the show. Wouldn't be the same.

I think RD just might become my favorite pony. I think she's had more cute moments than most of the other ponies, and not only is she extremely loyal but I think she's almost as dependable as AJ.

I have to admit Pinkie Pie didn't much interest me the first few times I was watching MLP.

I didn't hate any, but Trixie, Snips, Snails, and Rarity.

 

Trixie because she's an attention horse, but good fanart, fanon, and conversations with friends changed that:

 

 

 

Snips and Snails just grew on me, and Rarity didn't have any good air time at first, and was just shown to be a prima donna and a drama queen. But then she got good air time and I love her like I love the others. Plus that whole bit in A Dog and Pony Show.

I have to say...Rarity (sorry daring) was my least favorite character. She was so...well, the stereotypical girly girl, But then I watched watched Friendship is magic (part 2 of Pilot) and i have to say, She is awesome! So...VERY AWESOME! and she grew on me even more after I saw her relationship with Sweetie Belle (best CMC) I myself have an AWESOME little sister, but because of the age difference (6 vs 17) we have our conflicts. But She is one of the most precious things I could ever be thankful for

Plus, she reminds me of my little sister (both equally dramatic...don't believe me? well then YOU DON'T KNOW! )

At first.. I did not really like rainbow dash because she is kinda really stuck up.. and kinda bossy. But then as the show went on, I realized, "ERRHMAHGUD MAYN, RAINBOW DASHIE R BAWSZ! Silver Spoon. What a generic, stuck-up, bullying little filly, I thought. Nothing interesting about her.

 

Then I rewatched some episodes and started to think, "you know, she's actually really adorable and has one of the more creative designs on the show"...then, "she's always following Diamond Tiara's (bad) example, what's she like without Diamond?" Finally I decided that Silver just hangs out with Diamond because she can't stand up on her own. She's in the unenviable position of being the bully's best friend: a secretly decent pony who grabs onto the most superficially strong person she can find as a way of dealing with life.

 

I've been there. I think many of us have. So that's how I decided I didn't hate Silver Spoon after all.

I got it in reverse for rainbow dash, I started the series with her as my fave, but this slowly disintegrated and now I don't like her, all becuse she is apparently the only pony that can perform a sonic rainboom, she's way too overpowered.

It's not her personality at all, as I like buttercup( powerpuff girls) and blooregard q. Kazoo ( fosters home for imaginary freinds), who's personality's are very similar to rainbow dashes.

At the start, I didn't really like Pinkie.... I thought she was annoying until I saw Party of One and read Cupcakes. Yes, I love her dark nature, it's so twisted. I also like her bubbly side too. To be honest, the first time I heard 'Smile Smile Smile' my eyes literally went watery. That song was too awesome it made me shed tears of happiness!!

She's not only extremely generous, but also extremely patient, and when she got humiliated at the fashion show, it looked like she didn't even get mad at her friends for causing her to be humiliated, or making her work so much.

Trixie would have to be the character that grew on me. Her vices of arrogance agitated me at first. I decided later that her arrogance could be more than tolerated if she had the power to back it up. I hope after what she learned she seeks to make herself that powerful through study. She may even exceed past Twilight's skills with her prideful conviction.

I'm happy to see a bit more respect for Rarity. she has her flaws but she really isn't that bad I respect her for her entrepreneurial spirit.

 

The ones I didn’t care for but have had second thoughts on was the Cakes… I had to give respects with the new foals. As a vicarious father myself and I used to watch ponies with my own daughter so I enjoy watching shows like this who teach things like this and that put them one up in my book.
