So, it's the game everyone's been playing recently. Pretty scary and no way to win even if you get all 8 pages (spoiler).

 

At first, when I played this game, I was dead scared. After watching 'Robbaz' from youtube do this (skip to 8:46):

 

 

I decided I'd do the same.

 

 

So tell me guys, how many of you have played this game and how many of you beat it? Well...you can't actually beat slenderman but still.

eerrm yeah patch 9.4 turn it to day time once you collect all 8 pages and then you can play though it in the day time also you beat it once you collect all 8 pages because it wouldn't be a game if you can't win

I'm not a very brave pony. I lauch the game, see the forest, then imediately close it. I'm never going to make any progress in this game. But from what I can tell from the videos I've watch it looks pretty nice. The only thing I don't like are the graphics of the Slenderman himself. I wish they had just made him look more like a regular tall human. Although I am looking forward to the Slenderman movie that should be coming out this month.

I have played this game, it isn't scary. (Nothing really scares me though) I've gotten 5 papers as best. They really need to change how slenderman looks. Also add some other stuff to make it scarier.

If it seems too scary then I think there's a "$20 mode" where this music plays every time Slenderman is close.

Too bad you don't actually have $20 dollars to give to Slenderman.

Slender is less scary when you play a lot, but it actually gets funnier when you unlock the $20 mode like what Ponymon said xD

I downloaded it, tried it, got the first page, got scared by the music, then turned the game off, deleted the files, and never thought about it again.

 

I blame the fact that I'm a girl, even though that hardly has any relevance.

this game i saw it on youtube when roosterteeth played it and was like... oh god... so i decided to do what everyone should! i downloaded the game and at best ive goten 3 pages... i thought i had out smarted slenderman once with 1 page... cause i "thought" he can only spawn behind you and all that jazz... went to the bathroom left the game running... came back to watch me die cause he spawned infront of me and well ya i had to stop playing i get scared easily!

Well, I heard lot's of stuff about it...

 

I think I have a copy somewhere on my computer, but personally I disliked that game. Not that it failed to be scary, but I found it boring to play. It had little variety of gameplay and after a few pages I lacked the determination to go forward (Because it was bored, not because of scariness. The game did quite well on that).

 

Personally I would prefer something among the lines of, let's say, Amnesia: Dark Descent. Can't wait for the sequel. :3

Yes, i know this game, i made a livestream with facecam playing it. Though i don't consider it reaally scary, just gives good jumpscares, but people only seem to care about that, just jumpscares.

A good horror game is Silent Hill 3, i consider Silent Hill 1 better but normally someone wouldn't like the atmosphere of the game and will just quit, not just that, one of the first puzzles breaks your mind.

Hm, I remember trying this. Went through a forest, found a note on an oil canister, Slenderman showed up, and I died.

I haven't played it yet, but I do plan on it. Heck, I may even do a Let's Play of it.

 

Anyways, it is quite hard to get the papers, because he pretty much teleports right behind you at some point.

 

Also, here are 2 protips I found from other LPers.

 

1. The map is in the shape of a circle

 

2. Slenderman spawns after you get the first paper

 

You can use these tips to your own advantage. Find the location of all the papers, then get them all.

It's the first Google search result when you search "Slender man move". Remember Google is your friend. But if you're too lazy to go search it then you can just click this link for the official website. It's a fanmade movie and will be coming out this month for free on the internet. And just because it's fan made doesn't mean that it will be that much worse than a professionally done one. I mean its Slenderman; it's not that hard to do movie for him.

 

On a side note has anypony heard of Slendermane?

So I tried this out today while talking to Howwie. This is about how it went:

 

Me (after a little while of walking around having no luck finding pages): "So why is there creepy music playing now?" *little while later* Me: "What does it mean when your screen gets all staticy?"

Howwie: "I don't remember" (or something like that). *few seconds later*

Was moderately scary, but Slenderman himself really needs work, to bring the fear factor up a notch.

The actual monster in this game is less frightening than I was expecting when I first checked out a preview, so it's mostly suspenseful to me. However, it inspired me to go watch Tribe Twelve again, after which I had to walk home at night...
