All I can really say is that the song connects, and matches the way I feel a lot of the time during certain situations. At first, one would think that the song is a pretty happy, carefree song, but no. It's not all that sweet once you read the lyrics. It's pretty sad. I can't really explain what it is about this song that gets to me, but it does.

I'm not a fan of anything sad, but this song touches me because of the truth that it tells. The truth is that anyone who has an evil heart can always be reborn into a new being of good. The sad thing about this song is that Johnny has passed away, and Peggy Lee realizes how good of a man he was. Whenever I hear this song I can just imagine Peggy Lee sitting next to Johnny's grave, playing this song

Sometimes an event will change you, but in ways that are not immediately obvious. If this change is severe enough, then the "home" in your head can cease to exist. I first realized this while listening to this song's closing chorus "we're coming home" while actually driving home. Even when you go back there physically, it's gone forever. I really like the beautiful and piece melody of the first track and the sadness of the second one as it is written for the death of a character. The games I feel have a lot of touching music (feel free to disagree) and these were just two of my favourites! I hope you enjoy them!
