Savy 5,077 December 4, 2019 Share December 4, 2019 In real life I'm not very talkative at all, shy, and basically emotionless. I try to avoid people because they bother me and I really dislike social interaction.
ShadOBabe 18,997 December 4, 2019 Share December 4, 2019 Kind of. My thoughts and emotions are all the same, but I kind of have to reel it in a bit in public, or people might catch on that I’m kind of loopy. 1 Check out my artwork any time: http://shadobabe.deviantart.com/ "OMG; You are such a troll. dead account 2,710 April 4, 2022 Share April 4, 2022 I'm not "acting", but I'm different in real life, yes. In real life and on the outside I'm more like Inky Rose, personality-wise. There is one scene with Inky where she feels happy, but tries to force a smile on her to show it: Spoiler When I try to express my feelings on the outside, it's just as awkward and it doesn't feel genuine at all. I like true, genuine smiles and laughs. They might be rare, but when it happens, it's always something super special~ Spoiler Writing is directly connected to the thoughts and the true feelings on the inside. Thus, expressing it online or in letters is the best way for me. I'm happy the way it is, but the only thing I would like to do, but can't, is video commentary. Or voice acting. I simply can't act emotions, I simply can't sound like the way I feel. It doesn't matter if I'm experiencing the most happy or the most sad day in my life, I look and sound always the same. My recordings always sound the same, no matter how happy I am, haha. It's important to be entertaining and to sound motivated and excited. But I only have a soft, mousy voice, kinda like a male Fluttershy or something. I'm not loud or funny. I just wish I had a way to entertain people in my own way, I would really love to voice act or to do commentary while trying speedrunning games... But I digress, sorry.
Octavian 5,421 April 4, 2022 Share April 4, 2022 I'd say I talk about ponies... 20% less Anyway, as an introverted type, generally I'm pretty quiet other than with close friends/family but I also like acting up when I feel it; if I am forced into company with others I have tended to get a bit overwhelmed and acting up is a way to overcome that. In terms of bronies, I have met you IRL as well as online and I'm pretty comfortable with online bronies so mostly I just treat you all as a big friend group and then sometimes I act up when I'm feeling it but at cons I have either been a quiet puddle of angst or acting up (one of the reasons I <3 Pinkie) 1 1 hour ago, Props Valroa said: because the US flag is the ultimate pride flag
ExplosionMare 18,062 April 4, 2022 Share April 4, 2022 I’m generally the same although I’m less comfortable talking in public IRL than on the forums, since here I can goof off or do whatever and it isn’t embarrassing or anything. 1 Boom!
They call me Loyalty 1,948 April 4, 2022 Share April 4, 2022 Pretty understandable course of action. I also have this tendency to wish death upon everyone I dislike. Now, to the question at hand. No, I am always erratic as all hell. I like variety.

Skylight Scintillate 2,031 April 4, 2022 Share April 4, 2022 Well I'm more of an ambivert when talking face to face with someone. I'm significantly quieter among people I don't know, but if it's among people I know, I end up talking quite a lot. Oh, and I avoid talking about ponies. Closet pony fan problems, you know.

Envy 6,162 September 26, 2023 Share September 26, 2023 I'm roughly the same. Wouldn't say I'm *too* different IRL from online these days. There used to be a wider gap, and I was much more myself online. That still applies to me being non-religious/atheist and lesbian/bicurious, though. I have to keep those aspects of myself down low, still, unfortunately. 1 Everything needs more woodwind!
Snow 7,034 August 26 Share August 26 A little, my mannerisms are probably all the same but I do try to not talk too much and keep the weird back just a little more And the ponies stay a secret 1 beans
Bizarre Wizard 4,982 August 26 Share August 26 Slightly different. Cuz I'm slowpoke in general I don't find what clever I could say in time. On the forum I have time to think what to text. In addition I don't glow with magic IRL.
Rainbow Cloud 17,970 August 26 Share August 26 (edited) I'm a lot more shy and reserved in real life, I also don't talk about ponies because because no one in real life knows about that. I wouldn't say I'm a different person though, I'm just a bit more confident and talkative online. Edited August 26 by Rainbow Cloud

Starlight Serenade 3,238 August 28 Share August 28 (edited) It’s time to be honest with you all. Everypony, I am not an Alicorn. I can’t fly and I don’t have magical powers. Jokes aside - I feel like my online personality captures a significant part of who I am. I’ve been through a lot in my life, but I haven’t shared my full story on the forums yet - maybe the time for that is coming soon. When I first interact with others, I tend to be a bit reserved and formal because I want to create a respectful space. However once I feel comfortable, I truly open up. People often tell me they feel at ease talking to me about anything, which I take as a positive sign. I’ve also heard that I’m seen as motivating and patient, though self-doubt sometimes makes it hard for me to see those qualities in myself. I’m not fully out to my entire family. I’ve shared with my brother and a few close friends in real life that I’m bisexual, and thankfully, they’ve been very accepting. However, it’s a different story with my conservative parents, and that’s part of the situation I’m navigating now. Without diving too deeply into my past, I didn’t grow up in the best circumstances, which made me cautious when kindness came my way - especially when I first joined the forums. Even now, there’s a small part of me that wonders if people are being genuine with me or if there’s an ulterior motive, especially since I’ve been betrayed and abandoned by close friends before. Though I’m working on moving past that negativity and learning to trust in friendship again. I’ll admit that I haven’t always been the best person and I’ve made mistakes in some of my friendships, but I’m trying to learn and grow. I’m grateful for the forums, which have provided a space where I can work on that and connect with others who understand. It’s been a place where I’ve found support and the chance to be more open about who I am. That’s part of why Starlight Glimmer’s redemption story resonates with me. She made some big mistakes, too, but she was eventually forgiven and went on to help save Equestria multiple times. Being on the forums feels like my own chance to grow into a better person who can support others. I think we need to break up You can do this! We just need to surround ourselves with the right people and never listen to the toxic ones As for me... I really don't know how I behave here lol. In real life I like to laugh with people and smile. We really need kindness nowadays... I often joke around, I like being sarcastic and avoid being serious. I also avoid conflicts and rude people. I have no problems with being rude, serious and demanding myself. I really prefer not to act like this unless I really need to. 1 2 New friends (you)

Tao 7,756 September 9 Share September 9 I've gotten to the point where I have no filter and just say things as I think them with a bit of softer age given the elderly or if kids are around. I've been told I CAN be too blunt yet very grounded also at times and a good moral of ethics. I just don't care what ppl think minus those I call family/friends and my boyfriend. Do you like me AS who I am or not?
