1. Soarin

2. Doctor Whooves

3. Shining Armour

 

Maybe, I will put Big Macintosh at #1 when Season 4 arrives.

Both Twilight Sparkle and Applejack have some great big brothers. They're kind, supportive, and pretty cool looking too.

Doctor Whooves, without a shadow of a doubt. He doesn't do much in the terms of the show, but I love Dr. Who and all of the fanfictions and art about him. Don't even get me started on the shows, like Doctor Whooves and the Assistant (my favorite) and Doctor Whooves Adventures.

I like Dr. Whooves a lot thanks to the youtube series. But in the main show I like the background pony Lucky Clover.

Choosing any type of pony as my favorite is always way too hard, but I think it would have to be Fancypants, with Shining Armour in a close 2nd, then Soarin in 3rd.  I also really like this background stallion you see in Rarity's song "Becoming Popular," named Neon Lights.  This guy has some serious style.

I like shinning, mostly because of his relationship with Twilight is kinda adorable actually . Idk maybe I just am a sucker for it or something. Makes me wish I had a little sister kinda. :/.

 

He also looks pretty cool, his hair color is a really awesome looking . And idk hes probably one of the more interesting Stallions character wise, even if hes still lacking by most standards.

 

Sombra is proably my 2nd pick, only reason I didn't pick him is because he hardly says anything . Looks pretty awesome though.

 

Soarins pretty cool looking to.

 

Big mac has the best catchphrase .

 

Braburn has a pretty awesome voice.

 

Fancy pants has a pretty good one to, also not as snobby as the typical Canterlot ponies seem to be.

 

I could proably think of a reason to pick them all, I just pick shinning because I guess he has a nice balance of them all .

My top three stallions are.

 

Shining Armor- He's one of the coolest male characters we had in the show and I kinda like how he and Twilight have a close relationship.

 

Carrot Cake aka Mr. Cake- It's just so funny to see him when he's nerves about an order or when someone important is in his shop. Also he has the 2 cutest babies in all of Equistira. (Not on list)

 

Doctor Whooves- Just funny to have a character from Doctor Who.

 

Others would be Fancy Pants and Big Mac.

-He clearly successfully raised Dashie, who, being a rowdy tomboy who couldn't sit still and who, according to her bullies didn't like rules, was the most troublesome Mane Six filly to have had to contend with. Some bad-ass points right there for him.

-He is a male with a rainbow mane, and I'm willing to be he doesn't give no buck about petty insults people throw at him for looking gay. Rainbow Dad don't care.

-He goes to sporting events with his daughter not because he drags her there, but because she's a tomboy who loves athletics too~

-He's Dash's father. I mean, clearly he wins just on that principle.

I went with Shining Armor.  You won't find many more ponies more dedicated to equestria.  Of course one might also take the view that he is completely fake and never actually existed -- a construction of discord's.

I seem to be alone on my Starswirl the Bearded choice. He may not have been "social" or very "friendly", the power of his magical ability is pretty epic. He seems so mystical and cool and I really want to learn more about him in a future episode or something. His story sounds interesting. I don't think he was a "failed wizard" because of his lack of understanding on friendship, he just wasn't very interested in that and focused more on his other wizardry. Go Starswirl! Wasn't that a name of a pony in G3?

Got a soft spot in my heart for Big Mac (and was kinda disappointed he didn't have more lines this season, even for him!), but I guess I can list my top 3.

 

(1) Big Mac - the only stallion who can really be considered a regular supporting character, he's lovable, he's awesome, and he's had some of the best cameos in the show.  Big Mac, you're awesome; stay awesome!  OK?  Good!  

 

(2) Shining Armor - easily has had more lines and character development than any other stallion in the show, but oddly enough he can't really be considered a regular supporting character yet (made some strides though towards earning that title toward the end of the season).  Would love to see more of him in the future, especially in regular episodes like "Games Ponies Play" where he can make some more normal appearances.

 

(3) Doctor Whooves/Time Turner - probably shows up more than any other background stallion, and in some of the best cameos of any background pony!  That, and he's Derpy's fanon super special somepony, so I gotta love him.  Doctor Whooves, rock on!

Yeah she was a white pony with a red, pink, and silver mane/ cutie mark who I believe either did fireworks or had a strawberry patch. I'm pretty sure it was a strawberry patch though.

Fancy Pants is awesomesauce. Smart, cool, rich, good-looking, not shallow like other Canterlot nobles, and he's got mares falling all over him (literally in Fleur's case). Stallions don't come any better than that.

He is the coolest pony to never actually appear in the show, but Twilight's costume of him makes me think that he would amazing if they actually put him in. He's like a pony version of Gandalf.
