What section were these in?  The cards or the toys?  My dad's checking Saturday and he doesn't know where to look.  I'm really excited to get it.

Has anyone found the Hot Topic box?

I found the Pinkie Pie box at a target near me, but I've had no luck finding the Vinyl Scratch/Octavia box. Anyone else have some luck finding it?

I looked at my target and There was no Pinkie Pie Promo card. There is never good MLP stuff at my target. They never restock. The Twilight Sparkle Promo card still has not come out at this target.

The Twilight tin isn't at any Target. It can be found at Walmart, TRU, Meijer, and online at Toywiz and Enterplay.

Just got mine, looks prewtty awesome, hopefully the vinyl scratch box comes out soon too not sure f it did already.

 

I gotta say my town is stocked with trading cards or any MLP merch. they are never gone. i found the box on my first trip and when i went they were all in stock.

Got a tin and a separate pack. No Discord or Dashie, sad face. I'll be getting these from now on more frequently, definitely in the form of the tins since you get more for the amount you pay.

If you're just starting out, I'd recommend getting a booster box instead of getting the same tin over and over. You'll get most of the cards in one go, and it is the only to get the gold foil villain cards other than trading or buying them online. I was lucky enough to get Discord in my box, and I was thrilled to get the best villain first.

GOT A PINKIE PIE BOX! $8.99+tax at Target. Still watching ebay for the DJ Pon-3 box, as like I said that is the best indicator as to if it is out yet. Are they the only two exclusive boxes that are out now?

 

Do you think they're just going to wait until after New Year's for the release? That is the vibe I'm getting.

What is the best place to get card sheets/holders for the binder? The ones that are the most consistent with the one that the binder comes with?

Any nine pocket sheets should be good enough, and they're sold practically everywhere that trading cards of every type are sold, they're just usually closer to the sports cards.

Hot Topic did actually release the DJ P0n-3 box on their website, but it got all sold out. But since you aren't seeing them on eBay, that is a good sign that most of the people who bought them actually wanted them. It is also an indicator that they didn't put many up for sale in the first place.

 

As for the card holder sheets? Pffft don't bother making them match the one in the binder. I bought my sheets long before the binder was released so I bought some cheap holders from Target. They don't need to match the one that comes with the binder.

I opened 2 boxes and one of them did not even have a box toper in it. That was really bad. It made me mad. I think that I will send a complant to them because they gave me a faulty box of cards.

It's luck of the draw, a game of chance. However you have a very high of a chance to get, cards you already own, so it's a bit annoying sadly.

If you order a full box off of the website you are supposed to receive a gold foil box topper as well.  I've never heard of you not getting one.

Oh I just got the booster packs, I never got a full box, see my friend got me booster packs for Christmas. I did not get lucky or get any gold foils.
