movies/tv Worst Movie(s) You Have Ever Seen?

If you are a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Then you probably know that the live action movie was terrible. And I'm not just saying that because i didn't like it. The Script was terrible, The acting was... not great. The story had way to many holes in it. We go from Aang in the iceberg all the way to the Earth Kingdom in a matter of minutes. So much important stuff was left out. Now granted, they can't cram everything into the movie but .... A LOT was left out. The movie was also criticized because there were no Asian actors in the movie. In a series that draws heavily from East Asian culture the casting director couldn't find even one Asian actor. The only thing that was good about the movie was the visual effects. I hear they are working on making a sequel now that will focus on Book 2. I doubt if M Night Shamalyan is still the director the next movie will be any better.

Normally, I'd say The Room, but I'm almost certain they meant for it to be as bad as it turned out. In other words, it didn't take itself seriously. Battlefield Earth is easily the worst I've ever seen. The scenes were always filmed on an angle, which got incredibly annoying, God-awful acting, horrible screenwriting, and teh fact that it took itself too seriously all are some of the reasons why I regard it as the worst movie of all time.

Gotta learn stuff through denial and error.

This is inexcusable. Rocky Horror should never be on a bad movie list. It's a sin to even consider it in the same thought as many of these comically dreadful films.

I personally did not like the movie, but that is just taste. However, it was anything but bad. The acting, script, musical numbers, and hell, even the lighting were done fantastically. The others on your list though, are truly bad.

Partially, that was a joke. But I really do think that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my entire life. And I've seen a lot.

  • Baby Geniuses 2 (I should feel VIOLATED for enjoying that as a kid)
  • Shrek the Third
  • Will Smith Fish Shark Tale (THANK GAWD I saw the Spongebob movie and The Incredibles later that year)

"Flubber" was a pretty bad movie. "In the Name of the King" was a terrible movie, especially considering how they stole so much from LOTR. Rio was also pretty bad in my opinion. So was "Princess and the Frog". I'm glad I never watched Twilight or Avatar that's for sure.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I'm a hardcore Harry Potter fan, and even I have to agree that the movie sucks. The Death Eaters during The Dark Mark sequence at the Quidditch World Cup looked insanely stupid.

But I would have to say Birdemic.

Dare I speak more?

Oh gawd, they're making a sequel to it. My body isn't ready.

The little mermaid 2 and 3

*blink* There was a Little Mermaid 3? You mean #2 wasn't bad enough?? What sadistic producer would have the heart to torture an animation studio like that?

The Last Airbender and Dragonball Evolution - Fucking insults to the source material, the creators and all the fans of those series

The Resident Evil Movies - Please...just stop them already

Most video game adaptations - Super Mario and Uwe Boll movies. Nuff said

Undefeatable - This last hilariously awful fight scene does make it worth it though

Most of my other picks for worst movies I've ever seen have already been mentioned (Twilight- and no, that' not bandwagon jumping, I barely even heard of the series when I saw this, The Last Airbender, Batman and Robin).

So I'm going to have to mention the worst film that has not yet been mentioned- Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.

This movie just.. ugh. The visual effects were *laughable*, the plot was beyond brain dead (Nuclear Disarmament for Dummies) and there are so many total lapses in logic that you'll be picking up your jaw every other minute. The worst is when the villain takes a woman into SPACE where she's *able to breathe normally*. You know, in *space*.

For me, one of the worst movies I can think of was Die Hard 5. Came out pretty recently. I went to watch it in the theaters with my family, hoping it would be great like all the Die Hards before that. Unfortunatly, they totally bombed the finale of the series. It was such a dissapointment

Avatar: The Last Airbender was dreadful ._. I was actually really excited to see a favorite nickelodeon show on the big screen. All I got was huge disappointment and bad pronunciation (Uung instead of Aang) xP

But was really REALLY surprised me was that no one mention Dragonball: Evolution yet! If you're a Dragonball fan then you would of been pretty disappointed in this movie xP I got my hopes up for this movie as well! They just had to ruin yet another childhood show for me.

I give both these movies 1 pony out of 10 ponies, that 1 pony was just for reminding me that I used to watch these cartoons all the time when I was younger.

I've been reading through the replies and all I gotta say is REALLY!!!

FREAKING REALLY!!!

I actually kind of enjoyed Batman & Robin (yes, the one with Arnold Schwartzenegger and George Clooney...) and The Super Mario Brothers

Ah well, opinions are opinions...

I have seen quite a few movies movies lately and I have to say, I forget what movies I found to be super ungodly bad....

Prolly because they were so bad they weren't worth remembering in the first place :V

Yeah, but you see, in order for people to say that they didn't like a movie, they have to have *watched* it, and it bombed so badly no one saw that monstrosity. :D

Me, I only saw it through a rifftrax with hilarious live commentary by Kyle Hebert (you know, the Funimation DBZ announcer guy) at AnimeNext last year, so my memory of its awfulness is lessened by the fact that I had a good experience while watching it.

You really can't be surprised that these two films are showing up in this thread, though, much as you liked them. They've been panned by everyone since the day they arrived in theaters.

I think the worst film I've seen is probably The Happening. The whole premise of the trees making everybody kill themselves was pretty bonkers to begin with but then film itself was just dreadful. The acting was so forced it was really awkward to watch. It tried to have tension and add a sense of horror but it really didn't have any of that and the plain silly story line really didn't help with that.

For some reason I saw Piranha 3DD last year and it was absolutely terrible but lets be fair, it was made to be bad,

What's the film, called something like 'The lakeside' or something like that, I feel I may have go that wrong..

Anyway, it's well...Frankly unwatchable, even though I sat through the whole thing, as I was on a 20 hour coach trawl, I wished I hadn't.

Like, we watched Twilight afterwards, 'cos one of the gals had bought it along (god doesn't even know why...) And it was amazing in comparison. compared to the junk we just watched, Twishite had excellent acting, superb lines and plot, and detailed characters that were well-explored.

And I thought it was impossible to get worse than that...

The Room, of course.

It's gained cult status for being the absolute worst movie to have ever been created. The acting is horrific, the writing is unstructured and without purpose, the plot is awfully generic and the sub-plots have no damn point to them. It does make for brilliant humour in how much it fails though.

Ever seen people go "Ohai mark" or "You are tearing me apart Lisa!"? Yeah, quotes from The Room.

The Room takes number one for me as well. And if anyone is thinking of watching it, just don't. I warned you.

Second would be Trolls 2. God awful acting.
