Which background pony do you wish was a main character?

Can I answer none? I think the show has the perfect amount of main characters anymore and it would feel crowded. Especially now that it's on it's 3rd season it would feel like he writers were forcing i on us. Backround ponies should say background ponies.

I would love to see my favorite pony join the Mane 6 and become a recurring character. This show needs more her class and awesomeness. And a musician would be awesome. Bonus points if Vinyl Scratch isn't even mentioned. Where ever you find Tavi you find Scratch but not necessarily vice versa. Which is disappointing. Plus, they are always shipped together. I'm sick of it. Best pony has more to her than some drunk, party DJ.

The Lyrabomb is classic and I find Lyra's character hilarious when she is active. That's why I was so happy, yet distraught to see her with such a semi-important role in the season 2 finale. I personally would love to see her as a main character.

Yes, Colgate appears in the background all the time, and she even had a speaking line in A Canterlot Wedding. However, Colgate is just her fan given name, and it's what I call her.

 

Anyway, for me it's also either Vinyl or Octavia, like them both so much, but it's a hard choice.

Octavia is my favorite background pony for now (ignore the Scratch avatar lol) so it would be cool if she were a main character. I sort of wish there was a main pony with a music-related talent at times. But this is all hypothetical, I don't want a new main character to be introduced, I'm just saying if one of the mane six never existed, then I think Octavia would be a good choice.
