Hmmm, Trixie has been growing on me lately. Her voice actor and character design is really nice, as well as her character in general. However...

 

I'm going to have to go with Dashie. I mean, how could you pick a pony that appeared in 2 episodes over a central character who has some of the best character development in the series? I can't see it personally.

I realize Trixie's going to get some votes from her diehard fans and that's fine, but if she wins I'm going off. She has a great design, a cute voice...she's managed to cause more mischief than any non-major villain so far. That's all good, but let's not mince words, Trixie is a con-artist and not even a terribly clever one (like the Flimflam Brothers). Rainbow Dash is only the most awesome pony to ever be foaled in Equestria.

No, not my two favorite characters!  Ugh, I'm picking Dash because she's the greatest character.  Period. 

 

Trixie may be an awesome character, and by far my favorite non-mane six pony, but there's no way in hell that she's going to beat out Rainbow Dash.  Dash has that awesome personality and that wondrous mane.

Trixie may have raised herself from a 'I dislike her' on my list to a 'she was a decent antagonist' after seeing her -actually- pose a threat in Magic Duel, but Dash herself has undergone massive character development as well, on top of the fact I've already loved her since the first episode.

Pffft, no contest, Rainbow Dash. Maybe it would have taken some time to think about it back in Season 1, but Rainbow Dash is now my second favorite of the Mane 6, and Trixie is a very overrated antagonist (whom I can do a pretty good job imitating the voice of, but that's not enough).

 

Funnily enough, before the start of this season I probably would have wanted Rainbow Dash to be hindered from winning this contest. Of course, I'd prefer Applejack and be pleasantly surprised by Rarity, but Rainbow Dash is a great character who absolutely deserves the win if she gets it.

Sleepless in Ponyville aired three weeks ago and is now on my list of top favorite episodes, and might even be my favorite episode (which is quite amazing especially since it didn't even mention Fluttershy once).  The following week, Wonderbolts Academy aired and also entered the realm of one of my favorite episodes.  Dashie is on my good side lately, and I never really cared for Trixie anyways.  I also wasn't terribly fond of Magic Duel (DON'T HURT ME).  So yeah, Rainbow Dash it is.

Don't worry, I thought it was the worst episode of the season thus far. It's funny, I like Twilight but I rarely like Twilight episodes (My favorite "Twilight" episode being The Return Of Harmony. I did like It's About Time a lot though.). She truly shines in group based episodes or episodes with at least 2 other ponies being involved.

Both of them has had their moments especially in season 3. So far Magic duel and Sleepless in Ponyville rival for the best episode of the season for me and. Im going have to go with Rainbow Dash because she has proved she can be very being caring for other people besides herself. Of course we had Scootalove which alone wins the contest for her but then we have Wondrbolt Academy where we see Rainbow Dash is very willing to give up her dream in order to stand up for what she believes in. (Thats such a good moral)

 

 

Trixie on the other hand also had some key moments. I really liked her in magic duel all the way through. Her apology to Twilight really suprised me and it shows development for her despite being in only 2 episodes.

 

 

 

Overall im going with Dashie here as much as I like Trixie and her little "Transformation" in Magic Duel. Rainbow Dash has been growing on me for season 3 and thats saying something because I never really liked Rainbow Dash (dont kill me)

Dash won. We're now a couple days late, we should be half-way through if not done the next match-up. Tom is apparently busy with life, is all.

Actually, I went off to visit some family for the Christmas times. There was supposed to be internet there. But unfortunately, there wasn't. So I apologize for the late update guys! My fault! Though you guys should have totally voted for Trixie, she should have won. This contest is rigged. Only reason she didn't win. : P

 

Anyways, with 20 to 10, Rainbow Dash (Unfortunately) wins! Anyways, he have a less exciting round this time. Time Turner VS Applejack.

 

Fun Fact: When I did the random thing, it gave originally gave me Time Turner and Trixie. If only she hadn't already gone and unjustly lost, she would have totally won that. Why must you taunt me Random Number Generator.

Let's just look at this lineup from the perspective of the great RD,

 

Awesomeness- Time travelling is more awesome than apples.  

Coolness- Doctor Whooves is far cooler than AJ.
