1 - Opposites attract. XD These two opposing personalities and lifestyles are sheer win when combined right. It just seems to work, especially when they're arguing or taking each other out of their comfort zones.

 

2 - The playfulness of this pair is what makes it. Especially with Pinkie being the pursuer. A fic I read about that lately was too funny for words.

 

3 - (Yes, I'm listing my reasons.) Logic + Insanity! And sometimes, you can reverse said roles! We know Twi and Pinkie each have both of these. These two seems to balance each other, and occasionally, Pinkie tends to look at the obvious when Twilight isn't. Pinkie irking Twilight, and Twilight trying (failing) to figure out Pinkie also have their perks. Lol

 

4 - Chaos and Laughter? Why the buck not! (Also realizes Pinkie is in more than half of my fave ships...)

 

5 - This classic pairing should probably be higher on my list... but regardless, I love it. Right now at the present time, it's a cute and innocent crush. But in the future of my head-cannon, I like to think they end up having a relationship once Spike is mature. Cross-species and all. Buck logic and Screw the rules! We have ponies. ^^

I haven't read many ships so far, but I liked TwiDash.

More precisely, Flying High, Falling Hard is quite good imo.

Also, TwiDash just looks really cute in pictures

 

Off topic : Anyone of you have any idea how can I find out how many chapters are planned / if the story is already complete and there will be no chapters on fimfiction.net ? Flying High Falling Hard's last chapter ends in a way that I cannot tell if the story ends or not :/.

Personally, I never liked shipping. I never will. Primarily because it usually relies on either ridiculous fanon, circle-jerking, or insanely bizzare and illogical standards of attraction. This tends to hold true with both normal ships and slash ships (As I've said countless times before, I hate all forms of slash). Probably the only ship outside of the canon ones (Which are incredibly few, and would be fairly limited) that I can stand at all is probably SoarinxRainbow Dash. And even then, I really barely like that one.

 

And honestly, shipping is like roleplaying. You don't NEED to like it.
