...after watching this video, how exactly do you feel? Simple, except, not at all. I had mixed feelings. I felt quite depressed as I sat there in my bed thinking about how my life has passed by. But at the same time, I truly admired the beauty that lies within the animation. This was not made by me. This was created by tiarawhy, or DeusGear on YT.

This animation is based off of the Green Bird scene from Cowboy Bebop.

The video gave me the feels I'll admit but it didn't really make me go into any deeper thought like you said happened to yourself however I do often think about things like that.

 

All in all it was a nice animation that gave me some intense feels but that was it.

That's exactly why I can't take this video seriously. It's well animated, and would be very emotion invoking, but really? It's not the most overplayed song from an anime, but it's well known enough for me to feel only a "meh" about the video.

Yeah it didn't really give me that much of an effect on me... but I think it's the music that took away from it, it sounded really cheerful and such I didn't like it Interesting concept but I feel there could have been a better way to express this video.

But I did look up the song, "Green Bird", and the Cowboy Bebop scene did in fact come up in my suggestions.

A lot of bronies (myself included) got very powerful feels from it. To us, it is truly beautiful.

 

Many others could not be "drawn into it", however, and therefore just don't have the same kind of reverence for it (if examples are necessary, look up at the other responses).

 

There's nothing wrong with either of these; some people are simply emotionally affected by different things.

That's where it hit me too.

Same with the very beginning where Celestia, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy were all being controlled by Chrysalis and Discord. I did not want to witness a very special friendship that was close to my heart, suddenly break apart and be lost forever.

Awww...I feel both happy and sad. Happy because Luna caught Twilight and told her to carry that friendship, and sad because of Twilight's flashbacks of her friends and life with Celestia. Guess that proves how meaningful people can be in your life.

 

The animation was also very well done. Made this even more real-looking, along with the sad music. But although I may not be crying actual tears, my heart is probably crying right now. As Twilight was falling, she thought of all the best times she had with her friends....*sniff* Glad her friends mean that much to her.

 

Thanks for sharing. This video definitively left me thinking.

If nothing else the whole thread has somewhat become food for thought as peoples opinions of the video are changed based upon things they have done or seen hmm could be the foundation of an interesting physiological experiment.

 

My thoughts on the video it gave me that odd heavy chested feeling (not as bad as my little dashie did to the point i had to tab out and do something else every few paragraphs) but never the less it did somewhat pull on my emotions.

When I saw everyone being controlled I was kinda getting sad, then when Twilight life was flashing before her eyes, it really made me think. About everything she has been through to get to Ponyville. Then when Luna saved her, it really made me start thinking about it all. I had mixed feelings about it as well.
