I have to disagree with all of you on this video. I owe becoming a brony to this video. The very fact that these teens were overly judgemental and prejudice to a show that they had never seen is the reason I watched an episode in the first place. After seeing this video I began to think to myself. "These teens are being overly judgemental about a show that they have never even seen. I'm going to watch this so I can have an educated opinion." Two days later I finished watching through season 2.

I think the Fine Bros'. selection of content to show the kids (what we saw of it, anyway) could've been better chosen, as I'm sure we all do. But let's face it: it'd take a brony to find the best stuff and I don't know that either of them are bronies. At least they didn't show them the Rule That Must Not Be Named.

 

Also, like Lightning Fluttershy said, what in Tartarus does anypony expect?

 

I think Adam is TOTALLY AWESOME for wearing the RD t-shirt after saying what he did before. He ain't a fool, he knows what he said and he knows what he's wearing. Brohoof, Adam!

 

As far as it being an old topic, hell we have history textbooks, don't we? As long as someone wants to talk about it, they should talk about it. It happened, and reflecting on it after some time has passed isn't a bad thing.

 

So there you go. That's my two cents and i think only my first or second post on here, so please be gentle my dear ponies. Now I am off to listen to Twilight's Theme by RC88 for the five millionth time. I can't get enough of that song. Then I will play multiplayer FFVI with my neighbour. Adieu!

Alright i'm gonna make my continued plea again.

Not everyone is going to accept us LOL.  There is no fan base in the world that has 100 percent acceptance.

If their was a fan base for lesbians made out of chocolate there would be people who would hate it,

Stop taking it personal.  It's not important. 

Some people don't like friend ship,

some people don't like ponies.
Some people don't like animation.

Some people hate singing (hi LOL)

there are alot of reasons why people don't like the show.  And their gonna bitch.

 

Same reason why i know tons of people who bitch about madden games.  (Okay different reasons)

Just an update, I have recently learned that several more of the teens in that 'Teens React' video have now admitted to becoming bronies some time after the video was completed (including more than one of the female ones).  Just goes to show the sheer drawing power that FiM has.  To this day, I'm not entirely sure why people that make fun of FiM end up bronifying.  For lack of a better term, I've come to call this the Brony Effect.  One day, I should probably make a topic about it, because it really is interesting.

 

The other thing people have to understand about the Fine Bros is this.  Their videos are more parodies of teenage pop culture than a standard by which anything should ever be measured.  It's pretty much always been like that with their videos.

Love and Tolerate. Just accept that not everyone is going to like MLP, and some people are going to make fun of it and judge it. Not much you can do. Getting mad over it will just make things worse. The fact is these people do not understand us, the community or the show, and they probably never will.

Who cares? It's just a show that people can view on thier own time just like they did with the video. I don't like how bronies overreact to these kinds of videos and bash on it in any way they think because they feel misrepresented.

 

It's so popular nowadays anyway so I'm pretty sure some people will look past the theme song or see some fan content.

 

Opinions everyone....... it's just opinions.
