gaming What is your favourite gaming console?

Im torn. I dont play favoritism with consoles since each one brings something unique in the gaming experience.

I liked the Atari 2600. Wasnt fancy, or too flashy, and it reminded me of my Godmothers old Buick station wagon. Although, Xbox 360 was pretty great for lazy saturdays. You could listen to a podcast or music WHILE A GAME WAS PLAYING. I know, it sounds lame and PC could do that since the late 90s, but it was still amazing to me that I could play Fallout 3 and listen to audiobooks. HOWEVER, I think my current favorite is the N64 just because it was the system to define me as a gear head.

I love my 3DS and PS4.

But Alola region is soo bad at my opinion

I agree. Sun/Moon are way too easy compared to past games like Gold and Platinum which required a strategy to win.

1. Xbox 360 (it had all the halos + offline mode!)

2. PS4 (it has good racing games + the Remastered Spyro games!)

3. Xbox 2000 model (this one is just so memorable with amazing games!)

4. SNES (need I say more?)

5. PS2 (though it’s sorta inferior to the Xbox,it’s still one of the best)

I love my ps2 and still own and play it a lot.    It has a lot of good games and the controls are simple if anything.

I also love my 3ds!

Playstation 2. I got one when I was 5 and I had it for almost 10 years before it finally gave out. PS2 exclusives like Gran Turismo 3, Gran Turismo 4, ATV Offroad Fury 2, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Ace Combat 4, Ace Combat 5, and Ace Combat Zero were my childhood.

Hard to pick one, and not mention others.

  1. GameCube. My childhood In a nutshell. I played way too much Melee as a kid (as in, Iv3 level 9 Mewtwos with Mario).
  2. Nintendo DS. My childhood in a nutshell, but portable. Would be number 1 if it weren't for the dumb clamshell design.
  3. Nintendo 64. Actually great aside from the dumb controller design and how quickly its library aged. Still has a lot of classics.

GC: My Favorite Nintendo console

I think the GC has the best and coolest boot screen. Just had to say that.

I am more of a Sega person. I do own more Nintendo DSes than any other console though!

Honestly, the Nintendo Switch. As someone who grew up with Nintendo's handhelds I really dig the fact that I can take a bunch of my favorite games with me (i.e. Overwatch, Undertale, Night in the Woods) where ever ago, both old and new, while still having the ability to sit down and play it on a regular television screen.

Definitely the Xbox One for many reasons. For me, the Xbox One is the ultimate entertainment hub and is unrivaled in that regard. Thanks to sales, Game's with Gold, Game Pass and overall selection, I have 500+ games and around 150 movies and many fully complete TV shows, all on a single system, ready to go. All of this is wrapped in a UI package that I really like. The system has always been good at being able to swap from a game, to the internet, to Youtube, back to the game, unless the game itself is designed to close after a bit. It is also the system that convinced me to try Forza Motorsport and that is now one of my favorite game series of all time. It also has, in my opinion, the best controller ever made in gaming.

The Switch has become my second favorite and a great companion system to Xbox. It has many original games as is the usual with Nintendo, the portability is of course great and it is simply a good system to sit back and chill with.

GameCube, just way too much nostalgia to ever make that not my favorite console ever. I played it as much as I could for about 11 years before the disc reading lens broke.
I do miss my Super Monkey Ball games though. :worry:
