I got 97 words per min 499 key strokes 93 correct words 3 wrong words haha, this is still one of my bad days, I usually spend most of my day on the computer so I get use to typing pretty fast.I avrerage about 80 - 115. Solid 74 wpm, no mistakes. (I correct mistakes by habit) Not bad for self-taught typing. (Never passed a typing class in my life...) However, if I'm typing sentences I seem to type faster, instead of random words... lol me too!. I roughly use 2 fingers to type pretty much evreything. and I use my ring finger on my right hand to enter and my thumb on my left to space and ring on that to shift. i dont use anything else. Otherwise I would probably have upwards of 65. Just today someone said my friend and I had no life because we typed so fast. I have a girlfriend, my friend has a boyfriend, and that kid has a mental disorder and acts like a douche. So yeah, that's my rant, and my WPM. Well this is really lame. when I was back in high school I could type like 130 words per minute without any errors. What the heck happened? It really throws me off because I just want to read the second row and it scrolls up... Not even going to post it because I'm much faster when I want to type my own thoughts since I can glare at my keyboard constantly... I've been using computers for 12 years and still have to look at the keyboard. Your signature is harmful towards the rights of Hasbro, and has been terminated as a result. Sometimes i finish half of a word and finish the other half looking at the screen. I love writing, and typing is a fast and comfortable way to do that, so through years of experience typing things on the internet, I have been able to improve my typing speed. However, the highest I ever remember getting was in the 120-130 range, and that was through intense effort. Some people are able to get up to over 200 WPM. Maybe if I practice enough, I can get up that high someday. I also want to be a computer programmer, so I'm glad that I can type sufficiently fast. That will help me a ton.
