Probably just relax a bit, since it's the day of my last final (Physics). I'm probably going to forget about it until my dad turns on the PBS Newshour and they talk about it I might decide to go and buy myself something nice, since that's what I did during the last "end of the world" (May 21, 2011)

 

I should point out that the Mayans didn't believe the world ends 12/21/12. The Mayan calender in general isn't like the thing you hang on your wall with days/months and pictures of airplanes or hot girls, but more like a system. You have days (K'in), months (Called Winals, which was 20 days), years (Called Tuns, which were 18 Winals or 360 days). 20 Tuns were a K'atun, and twenty K'atuns was a B'ak'tun.

So a B'ak'tun (about 394.26 years) is like an era or something. You can figure out the day by counting from the year "0" for the mayans (the beginning of the last creation, which was 3140 BCE or something) you can find the date

Well.. since the world isn't actually going to end, I don't really think i'm going to do much of anything different.

 

Although I have finales tommorow.. Atleast I have a halfday, which means I'll be able to stick around a little later then my parents let me on regular school nights.

 

Most of my school seems to not be to gullible to believe the world will end . I hope that the others don't do anything really stupid and crazy.. You know I'm actually more scared of what will happen tomorrow because the world supposedly is suppose to end, rather then the prediction of the world ending.

 

But yeah, i don't really care to even worry myself about it. last time I worried about the end of the world it didn't actually end and all it did was ruin my day.

 

So not really going to do the same this time.. ;P.

I know the world isn't going to end     ! I find it silly how people have made such a big deal about the whole ordeal and they even made a movie on it pretty silly if you ask me...
