[Orchestral/Instrumental] Through Equestria

Hello there, folks!

It's been some time, but I present to you my first new track of the year.

I uploaded this track around a month ago, but never made a post about it in here. You may or may not have heard it already (probably not though!), but still, I'm happy to share it now, with any of you who may be interested. :)

I've been having this idea of making a big orchestral piece around my mind for various months now, and I finally got the fully inspiration I needed for it some time ago- so, I started working on it, and I kept doing it for various consecutive days, trying to fully express both this inspiration and these feelings... and then, this track came out. It all started with a simple melody...

I'm going to be truly honest with you (and sorry if I'm being arrogant by saying this), but this track is, undoubtedly, the one I have most gotten into so far. I love it. It's really expressive, and I put a lot into it (and I'm not talking just about effort). I hope you can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed composing it, and I really hope you can feel the scenes, story, and feelings I've tried to put into it. The track name is all you need to make yourself an idea, and I won't tell you any further than that, because, as I usually say, half of the expression is shared by me, but the other half corresponds to you, the listeners, who perceive it in your own way, and give it your own shape.

Thank you so much for listening, for the support, and I hope you have a wonderful day. :)
Download links (and donations, if you may as well! thank you!) can be found in the video's description.

I really, really hope you enjoy it. Until the next time, friends.

I love it! It's absolutely beautiful. I love music like this, especially when it's combined with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Thanks for making it! You did an excellent job.

I think I may have already told you this by way of Youtube comments, but there's no harm in saying it again.

*ahem*

I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG. :D

This is my favorite piece of classical music that I have ever heard, and I've heard/played quite a few in Band class. For the last month or so, and probably for a long time to come, I have listened/will listen to this song every single night, before I go to sleep with the dawn. This is hooves-down the most beautiful piece of music I've heard in my life.

By the way. You made "Dawn in Equestria" in a similar format to this, and if that piece is like Dawn then this piece is kind of like Sunset, or Dusk. (At least in my opinion.) Could you......could you maybe possibly hopefully make a piece in this format about Midnight? 8D

That may or may not make my day life.

First let me say this is fabulous composing.

I have no idea if this would be a long shot buuuut it's the internet. I'm kind of assuming that this is a midi version of an orchestra playing (or something similar. I really don't know that much about the technology side of music.) Anywho, would you be interested in doing a "youtube symphony" version of this? Similar to Eric Whitacres choir or the youtube symphony? It would take a lot of effort and hard work, but it would be a really cool way to transform this piece and bring it to another level.

Also, I hope you'll upload this to pony.fm once feld0 releases it to the public. :) If you want you could even ask him if he could let you into the QA team if you want to help with alpha testing, which would also allow you to upload your song there. He added me and someone else into the QA team a few days ago, so he'd hopefully accept you if you wanted to join.

Thank you so much, buddy

I'm really glad you like the track so much, and to know that you listen to it so usually is really inspiring, thank you so much.

Your idea for a midnight song is beautiful, and I've had the same idea in my mind for a long time, but I haven't yet found the specific 'inspiration' to do it. I'll keep it in mind for future plans!

Right now, though, I do already have many tracks in mind to do! And soon I'll be releasing my very first album (which will not be free, for the sake of gathering funds to help me buy some licenses I need to keep producing music- but still, every track in it can be freely downloaded separately), which will include all the tracks I've composed so far, plus 2 more not yet uploaded- one of which is vocal!

Amazing, amazing song.

Saw it one Eqd a couple months ago. Glad to see it here!

The pacing is perfect. I really like the beginning piano intro. (I already figured out how to play it xD)

You're way underrated man. Make more orchestral piece! I love it. :D

Thanks pal! I do already have some ideas to make other tracks, but for now I'm working hard in my first album release. :)

Having a real orchestra playing your music is the dream of every orchestral composer and I'd love it, but I don't have the money to pay for it, and there isn't too much people interested in doing things like that in my town.

I didn't know about Pony.fm! It sounds like an awesome idea, I'll surely upload my music there when it's stable! I don't have too much time right now to join the QA team though, but I'll surely join the web when it's done! Thanks for the info, pal!

The point of the youtube orchestra would be to avoid the money issue and the lack of interest. This video

probably explains the process much better than I ever could. You'll probably want to start watching around the 4 minute mark. I imagine the process being similar, just with instrumentalists.

Hope that explains things a little more? It would be a pretty big project, but I think it would be a lot of fun.

This song is truly amazing!! It's sometimes hard to find bronies who create orchestral music and it's incredible to see what those people can create!! I am a big fan of all classical music and I love to see when people make this great music!!
