other than that, once upon a time I posted this list:

 

Mexican food is all about chicken enchiladas,

Thai food is a thai between yellow curry and pad thai,

Japanese goes to yakisoba (with an honorable mention to sushi of assorted types and varieties),

Italian would go to Americanized pizza (pepperoni, salami, garlic, jalapeno, and sausage),

And for American... marinated flank steak cooked on a charcoal grill.

I would like to add some honorable mentions:

 

Soup is all about tomato bisque.

 

Tuna sandwiches that have been blackened completely with pepper, and thinly sliced sweet pickels (with a small splash of the juice from the jar), alongside tomato soup. TAG TEAM DUO, MAN.

 

Homemade ham and bean soup, mixed heavily with brown rice.

 

Chili cheese fries.

 

Subway sandwi-- Er, forget I said that. Please don't kill me, Veece.

 

Just about anything that comes out of this food cart or this food cart or this food cart.

 

In how many cities can you get some of the best food you've ever experienced in your life out of a bloody cart? Seriously, I love Portland.

Hmm, what is the most Canadian answer I can throw out there? Kraft Dinner! That's right, Macaroni and cheese. Okay time for my real answer, it's Pasta in general really. Fettuccine Alfredo, Rose Penne, and my own style of Macaroni and cheese that involves a mound of cheese, Tzatziki sauce and various seasoning
