So, I love Luna for lots of reasons! Her colors are striking and I love how her hair twinkles. Plus there's such mystery with her banishment and all that, not to mention she rules the night! If I ruled the night, I'd never be jealous of Celestia. There's much more mystery and intrigue to be found under the moonlight!

 

Also, it's a cool effect to have a splotch of color on her rump so her cutie mark shows up the way it would in the night sky. But does it bother any pony else that her rump is so little compared to the other body proportions? Cadence is drawn this way too. If she had a proportional rump, I'd not be able to find a single thing wrong with her.
