Luna will always be the coolest pony alive.  Sometimes I forget that, just because the Sisters aren't feature that much.  But, I mean, how can she not be the coolest?  She's the stoic, dark, mysterious, mature, regal, multi-thousand year old princess of the night!  She doesn't try to be cool; she just is.

 

Plus, her cutie mark is completely unlike any other in the way that it has a sort of background that covers her entire flank.  All other cutie marks are a cut-out picture of an object or symbol.  I know what it is--hers is a jpeg and everypony else's is a png.

 

And this is my all-time favorite Luna picture.  I love the emotion it depicts.
