All of the ponies have nice names, but some people like to give nicknames to them. I was wondering which ponies you gave nicknames too and what the nickname was?   Here is my list:   Fluttershy-Fl

Well I don't really give them nicknames.. So that would be:

 

Twilight Sparkle = Twilight Sparkle

 

Pinkie Pie = Pinkie Pie

 

Applejack = Applejack

 

Rainbow Dash = Rainbow Dash

 

Fluttershy = Fluttershy

 

Rarity = Rarity

Chryssi and Cadi are my favorite nicknames. I got them from a comic strip and have been using those nicknames since. :lol:

I call all the ponies their rightful name.

 

But there is one pony that I have given a nickname to, and you might know that pony.

 

Apple Bloom is known to me as Bloomy. And that's because it works for her. And I call her that all the time. xD

Princess Celestia - Cel

Princess Luna - Luna

Ditzy Doo - Derpy

Doctor Whooves - Time Turner

 

Pretty much all of those are universally used by bronies in casual conversation.

Well the usual of course (RD, AJ, ect)

 

But probably the thing I call Fluttershy the most in my head besides Fluttershy is "Flutes McGoots"

I've also caught myself calling Pinkie "Pinkie Von Pinkerton"

 

As a side note, when I first started watching MLP I thought Fluttershy's name was Buttershine, due to her being the color of butter.  :P

Well i don't use nicknames for all of them but i'll see which i remember that i use.

 

Twilight-Twi(Only ocasionally)

 

Fluttershy-Flutters

 

Pinkie pie: Pinkie(I thought most people called her pinkie anyways though)

 

Applejack-Aj

 

Rainbow dash-Rainbow or RD

 

Vinyl scratch-Vinyl

 

Scootaloo-Scoot(Rarely used)

 

Sweetie belle-Sweetie(Rarely used aswell)

I like them cause they sound like code-names.

 

usually though i use the initials for A.J & R.D.  'Flutters' for Fluttershy. I just call Twilight by her first name and name Rarity & Pinkie Pie normally.

 

I do have a habit of refering to Celestia as 'sunbutt' though,

I don't use nicknames for them except Dashie. It just sounds cute... Dashie :3

On the other ponies, I just call them their names. Flottershy is fun to call Fluttershy, after you said "AI... PHOTOFINISH, HAS ARRIVED!" - but that's mostly on joke, on a serious note, all of their names are wounderfully beautiful as they are :) Dashie still sounds cute!

Am I the only one who doesn't like "Tia" as Celestia's nickname? I very much prefer "Cel". I also prefer the spelling "Twilie" instead of "Twily".

Anyway, I have Flutters/Flutts, AJ, Dash/Dashie/RD and Pinkie/Pinks. And then there's Zeze for Zecora (best pony) and Queen Chrissy. For the CMC, I have Sweets, Scoots and Blooms.
