Your favorite High School Memory

I was trying to clean my room when I found things I drew in class during high school. This lead me to to remember the classes I drew them in, who I shared the class with, and some of the fond memories I have of that place known as High School.

One of my favorite memories was when in a film/recording class, I accidentally pressed the record button on the Camera without realizing it. So we got a lot of footage of us walking around, primarily watching my feet walk around outside. When we got to a spot to shoot a scene, you would see me aim the camera at our classmates, and then I'd hit the record button, and everything went black as I stopped the recording..

When we finished the scene, I'd hit the record button, and record my feet walking again unknowingly. So we had to beg the teacher to give us an extension as we had nothing but walking and my feet. We showed him to prove we were not lying, and he laughed so hard when I'd stop the recording when I meant to record our scenes.

So, what are some of your favorite memories?

My ultimate favourite thing that I remember from High School was my teacher for my Creative Writing class during senior year. He kept up with everything mainstream and, for the most part, was against all of it. Not only that, but he also watched My Little Pony (O_O) and openly discussed it with my friends (I hadn't watched it in a while and wasn't following it but I found it awesome and hilarious listening him and my friends talk about the Royal Wedding when it was coming up). He was the best teacher ever.

Another favourite memory was during my freshman year. My English teacher was awesome. When we read Romeo and Juliet (that of which we acted) he played Nurse and was f**king hilarious. He also made a great Lenny when we were reading Of Mice and Men. I will always remember that class. Now that I think of it...I had awesome teachers for all of my English related classes :o. I think I got really lucky :3

Oh the memories of 12th grade lunch, playing Call of Duty in that nice big open room while others looked on. That was one thing I would never forget.

Also, my 12th grade math teacher was the best math teacher ever! At a certain time in my calculus class, we played a game called math dice, for a chance to win fake bucks. What do we do with these bucks...well...that's the awesome part: With these bucks we earn from playing math dice and doing well overall...we can redeem points on any quizzes we take...yeah...basically we can "pay" to raise our grade up.

Your Romeo and Juliet story reminded me of this guy in my class, We were reading Macbeth, and the teacher asked if anyone wanted to read certain character's lines. Instantly the guy shoots a hand up and yells "I want the witches!"

It was hilarious, he used a "wicked witch of the west" kind of a voice, but took it a step further. He put 110% dedication to it. He was too awesome.

My favorite time is short but sweet. I was writing a paper for some silly class (probably Engrish) and stepped away for a minute. When I had returned, I noticed that the mouse in the screen was moving on its own. I didn't know it at the time but it was in remote desktop mode. Whether or not it was enabled the whole time or when I was away is a mystery. So being as stubborn as I was, I battled another user trying to open documents thinking that somehow the computer was broken. I decided to just sit it out and wait for the computer to do whatever. When they opened up their document, I just kept closing it out over and over again. Then after watching the screen mysteriously type a paragraph on its own, I deleted it and just typed "lolwut" and just gave up on that computer.

Minutes later campus police and the principal showed up and they thought I was a hacker who was going to screw up their network. I was scared shitless at the time, but holy hell do I laugh back to that day. I was only 13 for goodness sakes, how the hell could they have thought I had the potential to do something like that?

Ah High School... such fond memories img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

My biology teacher. I had her my sophomore year, and I loved her class so much, I took AP Bio my senior year just to have her again, even though biology is my least favorite of the three main sciences.

I could write a paper on why she was an amazing teacher. (And in my Intro to Education class in college, I did)

Another good memory from High School (this time Sophomore year :o) was my Chemistry class. Throughout the entire year, I barely paid attention and she didn't care. All she cared was that I knew what I was doing and that all the work got done. Whenever we had labs, should would walk around and look to make sure everyone was doing good, she rarely ever came to check on me and my partner :>. Not only that, me and my friend talked all the time yet she would tell the other students to be quiet were they ever to talk.

I wanted to buy her Senior year for the teacher auction but I forgot :(

Speaking of Teachers, in my Philosophy class, I had a teacher who was not only interested in what he taught, he was very interested in the thoughts we had about his lessons. So me feeling mischievous, I played the Devils advocate for everything he said. This would lead to very long, and most times funny debates.

Leading from stuff like Factory farming, to the Validity of Santa. I fought for or against depending on what majority sided on. And it was soooooooooooooo much fun to counter their arguments just to see them think and mentally squirm for responses.

My favorite memory would probably be in the final minutes of a soccer game against our rival. We were tied, and the winners would be moving onto the postseason; the losers would be done for the season. I had the ball, and threaded through about 3 players and launched a perfect cross that a teammate of mine headed into the goal to give us the win. The mob after that game was enormous  it had been a home game, and all the fans were going insane. I felt like the King of the World at that moment, and I'll always remember that!

My senior English class, which was Fantasy & Sci-fi. It was a new class at our school, and it might have been the best class I've ever had.

Aside from a teacher unlike any other, one of our projects was to make a news report about us encountering aliens for the first time ( we made a film). Some duct tape, a pile of barrels, a monkey mask, enough foil to cover a car with and a sweet basketball dunk, and we had one awesome project.

Favorite High-school memory would probably have to be getting all of my AP test scores back and realizing that they were all 4's or higher when I thought I did terrible in the first place.  :)

I got a few lol 1. Of course was the major food fight that broke out in the commons room it all started by a junior variety football player trying to hit one of his teammates but it hit a senior variety football player instead lol.

2. Was after I was done with the after school choir practice I was doing my homework and finished before my mom came so at that time it was too late to get back into the school cause one of the principles made a role that after this time u cant come back into the school period even ifnit was to put ur books back into ur locker so some how I got in and was able to put my books back into my locker but I had a close call cuase there around the corner was the principle that made that role but I got out of there before she saw me!!!!!

What I find is that during High School you really don't care and want to just finish high school and get the hell out of it, but when you're finished and look back at all those memories, it just makes you wish you can go back. Used to hate high school and every second of it but now there are so many memories of it and sometimes I wish I could go back. Especially those memes that stood out for each of my friends that we made on PS.

My only favorite high school memory that I'm going to love remembering is the time me and my best friend met and the time I started going out with her. She really is my life, and I will cherish the memories of being with her in high school as we move on towards our future. The rest of my high school memories are s**t. We would I want to remember a teacher scolding at me for not paying attention to a lesson I already knew and could potentially teach the class myself since I knew damn well how to talk to high school teenagers. Her trying to talk to us was like Tom the Rock trying to communicate with Adolf Hitler.

Mine was in 10th grade (7 years ago damn!) anyway in history class I sat in the very front right corner and my friend at the time Alex was sitting in the far back left. In the middle of a test (or some shit I can't remember) I turn and yell as loud as I can, "Alex are you from heaven? Because I've got an erection!" Good times! :3

Edit:

I'd like to also add to this. Later on down the line his Step Dad and Mom got a divorce because he was mad we ate leftover fried chicken that he wanted. You think I'm kidding.... I'm not.....

I have several high school memories.

For a year I was on the Rugby team, for someone with no previous I was told I did good. The next year, my final year, we didn't do Rugby because we didn't get enough practice in time as we were kept off the fields still recovering from last winter. But that year I became a member of the athletic council. I also tried out and made it on the badminton team to keep busy, but I'm not so proud of that because I stunk, I should stick to rugby. I was very often sitting in the athletic council booth during lunch and my free periods, doing homework, selling merchandise or just lending an ear to others. I also played a huge part in keeping the place clean with a broom and stuff as janitors wouldn't for some reason. As an athletic council member I was a part of the organization and staff of the teacher vs. student hockey game as the local rink. Manned the BBQ grill (a part of a car! where the engine would be!) and did lots of heavy lifting and other services when many public schools came to use our fields for track and field athletic events. And was a part of the staff for the Walk for Cancer marathon and did lots of walking around the track myself all night long. At the athletic banquet I was awarded the "Special Effort" award.

Over in the music department I had no previous experience but with two guitar classes and lots of practice I was doing really great. Great enough to be made a music ambassador to public school kids and to take part in two Christmas parades with the high school music department float. Waving out to the crowds and giving out candy.

I had some favourite classes, like geography of war, guitar, history of Canada in the 20th century (mostly about the wars), creative writing (I'm a bit of a poet), history through Hollywood (watch movies based on true stories then rip them apart for their inaccuracies), and fitness (I became one of the strongest in the class, the earlier year I could max bench press 157lbs, the end of the next year I could max bench press over 245lbs).

I guess my final memory is Remembrance Day. I was an army cadet (youth organization) in which I aged out a Sergeant. Anyway, on Remembrance Day I was allowed to go to school in uniform and wore the black beret of the armoured reconnaissance with pride. At the assembly I marched up to the stage from the other side of the gym with a wreath, placed it on the stage, then marched off after my salute.

I guess that is where the favourite memories end.

High school.. *twitch* *twitch* lol High school in my country is from the age 16 and until you finish. It's probably not the same as for other countries.

My favorite high school memory, I haven't really done anything at high school other then learning.. I would say the day I first drove to my school with my license, it was the best one and also when I arrived on my families truck with the subwoofers shaking the ground.. It was an awesome day. Also once I had a white Ford Fiesta 2011 rental and arrived at school. I felt awesome since I was in love with that car, it was so beautiful. I know it's a small car, but I loved it. Even though it isn't the fastest, it's a very cute car. This is coming from a V8 lover btw.. 0.0

So yeah, all my favorite memories are connected with cars and also that I have always gotten good grades. There is still one year to make memories, I have mostly just been at the library or inside the car eating subways and stuff. So before collage I plan on making my last year awesome.. Hehe, I have plans. :3

I'd have to say leaving.

Sorry, but the greatest memory I have from that place is leaving and knowing that I'll go to college and start a life of my own. I don't want to experience high school again.

I don't remember much from high school. I was pretty antisocial so most of my days were pretty monotonous on top of the fact that I was a terrible (see: lazy, unmotivated, depressed for no reason) student so I had no achievements. I think the one thing I remember most is when I wrote a story and shared it with my teacher and her and her family liked it.

Well, my best high school memory was definitely my band trip to Disney World. We got to march in the parade at Magic Kingdom, which was really cool. I had a blast going around the parks with my group. I also got to know my soon-to-be boyfriend a lot better on that trip. That's when we both started to really crush on each other.

Close up there would be homecoming with what I then perceived as my two best friends (one of which is as true of a friend as exists and my best friend till the end, the other one stopped speaking to me). We skipped the dance, got dressed up and hung out, and then went to dinner together. We joked around and talked and had a really good time just hanging out together.

Going to prom with my boyfriend both times also ranks up there. The first time he asked me to be his girlfriend, which was fantastic. The second time we just had a blast hanging out and celebrating almost dating for a year.

Also, my 15th and 17th birthdays were fabulous due to the lovely people at school wishing me a happy birthday. My 17th was particularly great thanks to the awesome friends I had that year.

My memories of performing in marching band were pretty fantastic too.

Those were the bright spots of high school for me.

DFTBA.

Hmm my favorite high school memory...well does graduating count?? XD I hated every little thing about my years in high school. To me, graduating and never having to see any of the other kids I hated ever again is my favorite memory.

I guess my more serious favorite memory would be French teacher during my Freshman and Sophomore (However you spell it) years. We did absolutely nothin' in that class and she let us do just about whatever we wanted.

My favorite high school memory was leaving that god awful place and going to college. I hated the people at high school with the fiery fury of a thousand suns. Not joking around either. I'm glad to be gone.
